I think the general rule of thumb for going places in your chunks is that you should only go there if you can get back. Take Entrana for instance. When you unlock Entrana, per the chunk rules, you get any underground or above ground areas like dungeons, but if you were to go into the Entrana dungeon, the only way out is to go into the wildy, so you'd need to first have that chunk unlocked before going into the dungeon. I understand the concept of "not having any tasks, so I have to roll", then the only two unlocks immediately bringing you back to your original area, but that almost feels like force unlocking free chunks, which in my opinion, goes against the intent of the account type. However, it's your account, and it would make a ton more sense for you to grind 99 ranged while also hunting for the smouldering stone. If this is something you really want to do, I say go for it. But take whatever result comes from having to roll the two new chunks. If you roll white wolf mountain and have to go straight back to your ranged grind, then that means you can't go into Taverly dungeon yet.
Yeah whatever i roll i have to take but before i get to it want the community decide what is the way to go since there are 2 options. Either do it or not and if the community says no then ill stay at the ranging guild until 99 ranged. There is also option of taking tele runes so that would open more possibilities but if i do that ill take only camelot since i dont want to cheat out of my grind so i cant get for example falador and no way back to 99 range grind so whatever happens i wont be skipping the grind :)
So what i understood is that you are lamping agility and as soon as you hit 32 you will get a task that makes you use the grapple. If that is so i think that you shouldn't just go ahead and use it and lock yourself out of your current chunks just to roll again. From what i mathed out it's 33 lamps to 32 and 25 more lamps to 36. Assuming you get to 32 I don't think you should use the grapple since you can't get back. If you get to 36 before you finish the chunk then it's 100% rollable, if you don't I don't think that it should be rollable unless you plan to sit in the dungeon and wait for xp randoms. I don't think "forcing an early roll" as one of the comments on the poll wrote down is something that you should do, but it's your series :) TLDR - I think that you should finish your 99 range first before any rolls, and then only if you have 36, then make the taverly chunk rollable.
Yeah. I wont be locking myself out before i have 36 just so i cannot get locked out. I dont want to skip my grind by no means. This would just open more grinds keeping the same old.
I think you should do the grapple, because you can get 99 range passively while you hunt for other items like the visage or the curved bone, you can do both at the same time just do it
I'd say, finish up your current chunk grinds, and make the taverly chunk roleable seeing as you can get to it thanks to the agility shortcut (if you have the agility level for it). Otherwise continue on as normal would be my opinion
Personally i'm against it. If there is a one-way ticket in your chunk and you can't go back, then you should not use that ticket. Though both of these chunks should be rollable if you have a way back. Postponing the range grind feels weird, xtreme one chunking is exactly about doing grinds that don't make sense, so it feels like tricking the system if you postpone it to be more efficient with it. If you are so burned out from the range 99 grind that you would rather quit than keep playing, then you should use the grapple :D but knowing you that won't be a problem :P Much love!
I see what U mean but I wouldn't be postponing it. The roll I would do would guarantee it back so basically when I take grapple, I'd be taskless and I'd have to roll but as soon as I have rolled I have the grind back on no matter what.
@@tmbeef5458 Well that is true. It would increase the efficienty by a lot but the key here is that i can do either. I have my preference but i let the community to decide what they want to see so lets see how this goes! :)
Voted! I find this to be such a interesting way of doing it. On another note. Wouldn't Camelot also be rollable if you have high enough magic level to teleport there? But I guess you don't count teleports as a proper travel way?
im split. for the sake of account enjoyment for you, and content enjoyment for the viewers, i think it makes sense to unlock it. however for the sake of staying "true to chunk account rules" it does go a bit against it. i think at the end of the day, its your account to do what you want with, and if this brings you more joy as a gamer, then you should definitely go ahead!
I don't like the idea of softlocking yourself on purpose to manipulate the grinds, I think you should need a way back to your other areas to consider it. Of course your account your call, but it feels wrong, some things just don't line up for chunkers, many done rough grinds just to unlock a 10x better method next roll
Yeah i would have a way back and thats hte point. No matter which chunk i roll.. It gives me a way back to my chunk so i wouldnt be trading this for easier tasks but to add on this task. For example getting visage, smoldering stone, 89 hunter in puro, 84 crafting without a furnace and the list goes on and on. So it would basicly just adds hunderds of hours of grinding for me and not make it easier by any means.
@@VALTEEChunk I guess I should clarify why it feels wrong to me, it's because you will/would have a way back, but you currently don't, and in my mind extreme chunkers work with what they're given at the moment. Everyone sort of looks at the grinds around them and prepares for them, but it's another thing to exploit future chunks like this. But hey both ways have their own logic and I'll still enjoy your series if you use the grapple
@@LixyFox Yeah thats why im making a poll here. Cause i want the community to choose the way since there are 2 options available regardless of how i feel which is better way :)

Agree with this comment. End of the day though, it is your account and you can progress as you’d like. Great content regardless!

Yeah that would be the way to go :)
its such a big brain idea you should do it. use the shortcut.
Yeah. The unique situation of this makes it kinda funny and intresting thing to do. :)
That's so fun. Shoot that bow and then have a fun grind to 99.
At the end of the day its your account do what makes you happy.

Do it! (Use the grapple shortcut.)
It seems like poll is leaning towards using it yes! :)

is the grapple a task? if it is, id go for 99 ranged and then do it and roll out of 2 chunks
Yeah the using grapple and going through the shortcut becomes a task after 32 agility.
