You two are amazing. The joys of Sicilian life... the love of family, the celebration of smiles, the comforts of happiness, delectable foods and dazzling colors... with Padre Pio blessing every moment! A celebration of life riding a Piaggio Ape through medieval streets while sharing everything you see with everyone you meet. Buona Pasqua a tutti.
I spent three days there in late October based on your recommendation. Great suggestion. I stayed at the top of the hill. I swam and ate pizza and gelato on the same beach where Al had his slice.
My wife and I stayed in Castellammare del Golfo a couple of years ago, in the same hotel you were in. The breakfast was certainly amazing, the owners fiat's also amazing, from memory he has 3 of them. We loved the town thank you for sharing ❤
Beautiful! My grandparents were from Sicily! I love seeing the different places you go! I make the Cuddura cull'ova every year…it wouldn’t be Easter without them! When you both signed off and Alfred said benedica, it brought back memories….my Nonna always said to us “ que bella benedica”…I miss hearing Italian and the Italian accent when speaking English…or as we said “broken English”. Thank you for beautiful videos!
Another fabulous video. 👌 Thank you, Eszter and Alfred. I wish you both a happy Easter with much love🐰 🐣 😊 ❤ I will be making Lasagne, caponata, fish, and salad with chickpea tortillas. With a banana, chocolate, and almond cake for Easter. 😋
Oh, thank you for this video today. It almost brought tears to my eyes. I have been missing Castellammare and longing for my return. It was nice to see the views, the streets, and even people I know! Gelateria Vernaci is where I typically go for gelato, very good there! Camillo and his son Sebastiano from the butcher shop are SO nice! They always remembered my name and would make conversation with me. Plus their meats are excellent! Do you remember the storm that blew thru when we were all at the restaurant for pizza last year?! Lol Ok, Buona Pasqua ragazzi e ciao Eszter Bunny! 🤣(sorry, I had to)
My father's family is from Castellammare del Golfo, I visit here with my father back in 1980! Clearly I need to plan a return visit. Thank you for your video.
Bel video, grazie! Ester, ma tu devi parrare sicilianu!!, cosi' tutti gli altri (English speaking folks) sono costretti ad imparare almeno un poco!! 😅😂
@@YouMeandSicilydon't know the name of it but I've only seen a few episodes since I don't have cable one day he was in a restaurant it looks just like that one where you said you were spending your birthday
Hello, it's Silvio (Sicilian Ezster friend). That place you're written about, where has been made Montalbano footages, is located on Marina di Ragusa, at its longsea. That's in opposite side of Castellammare, on the south island in Ragusa province. That you can find breathless beaches and many else stunning places.....trust me, I grew up in my childhood in that nearby.
Question: We are having to choose for our stay to stay in Castellammare del golfo or Santa Flavia. Which one do you recommend or which one would you personally pick?
More from Castellammare del Golfo, Segesta, Trapani, and San vito lo Capo in this video th-cam.com/video/goUxbUdHHZo/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Z27bb...

Buona Pasqua..Is your favorite restaurant the same restaurant that was used in a scene from Montalbano? It looks familiar.
Which restaurant do they use?
