Amritapuri is better than Coimbatore for CSE only in all aspects ( in actual the difference between both branches is negligible in terms of courses). Amritapuri beats Coimbatore in terms of those technology and programming clubs.

In terms of placement of course Coimbatore (main) campus is best among all of its branches, but the campus in Amritapuri, Kerala is also a great choice for BTech CSE. SPECIAL NOTE: Try getting admission in the Coimbatore or Amritapuri campuses only and for BTech CSE/ECE only.

Try to get into NIT Rourkela. It is even better than IIT Bhubaneswar.
If you are going for private college , go for ITER (CSE, EE Branch only) if you can afford the fees.
Or else go for CET Bhubaneswar (State govt college)
