Oh! I just spent two weeks listening to Piano Quintets because I have to choose one for next year. No exaggeration I listened to 36 quintets and still had no idea this one existed. Thank you very much!!!!❤

Respighi quintet is really good too
Which ones were your favorite?
Did you hear the quintet by Mieczyslaw Weinberg? Like the Bartok it's n early work, but I think you'll find it a revelation.
Do you have a playlist??😅
@@carlosmendozapiano I don't, but I do have a list of every one I listened to and the ones I liked, I can send you if you want hahaha
You can barely, just barely hear Bartók's voice. It gets stronger with the rhapsody, and finally emerges in the bagatelles.
Bela Bartok, if you're kidnapped and forced to write music in an early romantic style, hit three notes in a subcontraoctave in meter 5/8
That's pretty funny, but this was his style before he began studying Hungarian folk music.
@@alinkbetweengames4328 I guess he really liked Schumann
LMAOOOOO
I've known this one for many years, but I've never seen the score. Thanks!
Thank you very much. I love Bartok ‘s music, but I didn’t know this quintet.
Fantastic, full of personality.
Great "find" !!
Thanks for uploading!
Very cool, I just got into Bartok in 2020... This seems very tonally sound for him... Interesting. Thanks for your awesome channel!
A very early work before he formulated his musical language.
Wow, did not know about this piece! Thanks for the upload.
Bartok e' un transformer!!!!
