Eagle is so talented I think a lot of people forgot just how great a player he is. He had the best forehand in the game and now doesn’t even need it to win … incredible.
Eagle it's the Texas Two Step. I also started something called Boot Scoot where you can hold off on your extra drive on one and save it to use on any hole. I only do it on the first round of the day.
Historical Pin Level Orientations: I'd like to see the top of the basket nub-array flush with ground level on a few holes for tournament play. TD's took it up on themselves to elevate the basket, or let it swing in the breeze. Not many know this, but the sport originated (object courses) playing more toward ground level contact, than any other orientation. They even had boxes to slide into, or just hit an object post, preferably low, where it paid to play it low on up shots. I wouldn't mind seeing a few ground-effected slide-in shot approaches. BONUS: Some Spit-outs would fall, or roll back in! It would be just another shot to master like everyone once had to, the original Disc Golf putt.
I had a similar injury to Eagle from throwing forehand with bad form. It’s been about a year and I’m 90%. I do notice some pain when I don’t get perfect form on my throw, but as long as I throw it right I’m good 👍🏼
I feel like another good addition to the comment on US vs EU courses is population density. Most of the courses around me are in much less populated areas (and subsequently get much less foot traffic), whereas in Europe you have a lot more people in close vicinity to the courses.
I feel like thats a waaay too big of a generalization. There are courses in Finland way out in the boonies with zero people and also close to cities. Its just everywhere. Of course I cant say for EUR in general, or the US.
I feel for eagle. I can't throw a sidearm/forehand any more because of wear and tear. I 'm 52.... so it must really tick him off ( he does me). Hopefully he can in the future as it was an amazing throw to watch.
Step putt is super op. What would help Simon with the putt is to make it more fluent and smooth and all in one motion to get more of your body involved.
I share the Red/Green color blindness with ya, Simon. I could be standing over a red disc in the grass, asking my buddies where is it...Only to find them laughing and realizing I'm right over it :)

I think "elevated baskets" arent such a good idea, But I do like the idea of having a variety of "height" baskets (ground to bottom of the catch) but these 6 ft in the air baskets are a bit silly.
I love that kid's pace of play. He does not mess around.

I am colorblind and have watched 3 days of coverage but until Simon said the circle was painted on the ground, I had no idea it was marked!

What happens if your foot touches the ground before you release the putt on the step putt? Is there a penalty and if so how is it enforced?
