Like every Atiny who survived the stressful Kingdom era, every Ateez performance made our hearts SWELL with pride. But if I have to choose a favourite, it would be the Answer : Ode to Joy performance. Watching tt for the first time was such an unforgettable, emotional experience. And they were flexing their Immortal Songs win too there, what with the collab with the amazing La Poem. (La Poem was also one of the performing grps together with Ateez during the 2 Turbo episodes of Immortal Songs in Aug 2020) The ranking given at that stage meant nothing to me. I felt like they had alrdy won the whole Kingdom show.
Kingdom was such a great stepping stone for ATEEZ. They were so busy during this time that I honestly felt worried for them. But they made atinys so proud, all of their performances are amazing ❤
I love that you watched both versions. I.N.'s expression is permanently engraved in my mind. This was the 5th performance of the round. Stray Kids chose the order: The Boyz performed A Tale of Fire and Ice No Air first, Ikon Love Scenario/Killing Me, BtoB Missing You, Stray Kids Side Effects/God's Menu, ATEEZ, and finally SF9 Jealous. The funny thing was when they put ATEEZ immediately following their performance, Felix asked something like what happens if ATEEZ does really well. Changbin said then good for them. It was almost like Felix foresaw ATEEZ winning first from the industry panel and other performers. One more thing, at the beginning Seonghwa is doing his own part. Mingi's rap is in the beginning of the second verse of Wonderland. Here they replaced it with the bone-breakers dance. Thanks for the reaction!
This for me is the best live performance I've ever seen in my 7 years of being a fan of kpop and it will never change. The set, the props, the theme, the clothes plus their stage presence, dance and vocals?? Actual kings. Talking about raising the standards. Also, the award goes to you girls when it comes to reacting to ateez cause you pay attention and notice a lot of things🥺🤍
I love sharing this performance with people new to ATEEZ. The theatricality of it, the brashness, the bigger than life "go for broke" spirit, makes me so happy and usually causes newbies to be speechless. And the special effects which make the kraken move. No matter how great the performance may be, if no one can see it or hear it, the great performance doesn't really matter. And they turned in a stellar performance. FYI: When they went on tour after their appearances on this show fans would see thier opening performance of Wonderland but the kraken wasn't part of their tour performances. Some Atiny wanted to know what happened to the kraken. Members offered possible theories for where the kraken went. Finally one of them answered the question once and for all: "We ate him." So that's the answer and always will be. Though I don't know of any public facing evidence of this other than comments in several reaction mvs, some Atiny have said that KQ was approached sometime after this show to discuss the possibility of turning their performances into a West End/Broadway musical. There is a behind the scenes of this, that's where you find out that they did this on no sleep. 👀 Because they were doing their Fireworks comeback and 4 of them were doing the Kdrama Immitation at that time. I'll never NOT be in awe of how hardworking and talented these men are, it's just mind boggling. Definitely the main reasons they're my ult group now 😊
This performance was exceptional but for me Ode To Joy : Answer was phenomenal I think because how personal it was to Atiny. I cry every time I watch it. Love your reaction as always 💛
SF9 cover dance of Taemin's move was my 2nd favorite performance on kingdom! I also watched kingdom and this Wonderland stage fit the round concept so well. If i remember the theme was "New World" or something like that. It was pefectly executed and my #1 favorite performance on the entire show!!

Ahhh this stage actually has such a special place in my heart but my fave Kingdom stage is a tie between Wonderland and The Real!
