People think getting money off one's recklessness, is more important than punishing those who commit crimes, in ways that can actually prevent chances of them from doing it again. But the point is, these people went so far downhill, to the point where some of these people are lucky to still be alive. This video also shows how some of these people went from big disappointments, yet turned their lives upside down, when quitting drugs. Drugs may seem to relieve people's problems for the time being, but it's not worth temporarily easing a pain, if it will cause more damage to the people using it down the line. Some take drugs out of depression, but there are better ways to motivate yourself, than to kill all your nerves and senses with substance abuse. It doesn't matter if you're a celebrity with money, an average person, or a poor person, taking drugs is no way to try and make your life better.

If you’re referring to thinks like suboxone they don’t get you high at all they make it to where you don’t get dope sick and help with cravings but also some drugs like suboxone have opioid blockers which even if you use while on they prevent you from feeling any of the high so if you keep relapsing but still take your meds as prescribed it becomes pointless to still use kuz you’re not gettin any form of high from it or the “rush” you expect when using. But If you mean like somebody stopping meth or heroin and then taking prescribed pain pills or something like Xanax just because doctor said it’s ok then Yee I agree they aren’t sober and just swapped addictions but things like suboxone might be a crutch to some but have helped and saved thousands of people from addiction. You may ne dependent on it but you don’t get high and you can have a normal life on it. On his own recallings he would binge on coke and heroin for 3-4 days to the point that he lost contact with himself and just wandered out of his house to remain in the streets just doing drugs even for weeks.
