Beautiful!! Omg I just made a bar soo similar to this a week or so ago! Great minds think alike! Lol. Except my colors were plum, orchid, and lavender micas. I think this may be one of my favorite pour patterns. Those colors came out beautiful! And yes…I live in Maryland, it’s the Baltimore Ravens 😁

That sounds beautiful! I would love to see it! And thank you for the assist on the football naming... I really was grasping at straws there lol

Beautiful colors! And another great tutorial! And I agree about the visual pleasure of cutting each individual bar and looking at the design! Those large soap cutters do nothing for me 😂. I am currently impatiently waiting to cut a loaf I made yesterday… so I had to watch you cut yours to hold back my temptation of cutting mine early 😝

These turned out beautiful! I just did love spell like this but put my hanger through the middle once. Kinda like you would a feather swirl. They turned out great. And yes the Baltimore raven NFL team is what your thinking of! They are mostly pure and black. Little bit of yellow.

Hahahaha ok! So I'm not TOTALLY off the mark with the football reference lol! I'll bet yours turned out beautifully - I I've also used this technique and then done a hanger drop right in the center of it, creating sort of a feather or leaf kind of look!

@@NestSoapery totally not off the mark at all! You was right on it! And yes this technique is great especially when you got fragrence that is behaving! I was planning a drop swirl but the fragrence was being so good I went for it! 💜

It's possible you're not using enough Mica for each portion of soap batter. I would recommend looking at the manufacturer's recommendations as far as how much you should use per pound of batter. You can also just play around with it. If you add too much Mica, the worst that will happen is that the bubbles from the soap will be tinted a specific color, it won't hurt anyone. You also want to make sure that you're using a soap batter that will give you a really nice, crisp line. Certain recipes will result in more blurred designs.
