When the cat is giving Tony a sniff at the end you can literally hear him thinking “yes,yes,yes! this is finally happening!” And then kitty is like “no” 😂😂😂 Tony is an absolute dollface and totally deserving of his celebrity status. ❤

I'm not even religious and yet I fervently choose to believe there's a special place in Hell for people involved in dog-fighting. Love that this couple rescued this dog and have confirmed what the rest of us who take in rescues already know, those animals give 1000% more back than we give them. If any of you can adopt or even just foster to make more space, please do.
It takes a bit longer for some kitties to be friendly with a dog, but it will happen. 😊❤
One of our cats decided that we had gotten our 2nd dog for her. 12 years of Ms Kitty, rubbing against a 65 pound dog, to be sure her scent was well spread. Oddly, the cat passed away suddenly 1 week to the day after 'her' dog passed away from cancer. 12 years of togetherness for them, both around 16 & 17 years old.

Patience, Tony. Some cats take a really long time to warm up to new people in their home. If you remain a good boy and a gentleman, one day they will come to realise how awesome you are, and they will love you, too.

The cats may not cuddle up to him, but they will probably tolerate him more. My cat hated the rescue dog. But then she relented and would be on the head of the chair, and he would be on the seat of the chair... and they just slept like that.

Tony's awesome! Of course, the cat's are reacting to Tony's lack of boundaries. He's a dog and doesn't understand the needs of a different species but I also wonder if the cat's territory has been upended because of him. Do they have their own space? Are there multiple cat trees that he can't access? Wall furniture that only they can climb? Hallways they can cross without coming into contact with him? Do they get to eat in peace? Go to the bathroom in socially sancioned areas without him "threatening" to play? Are they lacking attention because they see Tony's the new favorite? Do they get adequate daily playtime from Mom or Dad? I'm sure with the right approach, the relationship between Tony and these pretty kitties can improve.❤🐶🐱❤
As a Tony, I can confirm that we often have a lack of boundaries, lol 😏

Oh my gosh what a love bug! I don't know how those cats can remain so resistant to his charms. But they are probably just bowled over by his "puppiness" right now, and as he mellows a bit AND learns that all cats are alphas over dogs (LOL) they will warm up and one chilly day, you'll walk by and they will all be snuggled up together. 🐶

Being that he was so young when he was seized, it would have been much more sensible to have him fostered in a home environment. He would have been socialized with other dogs and different people, preparing him for an easier transition to getting a forever home. It’s a shame that the law dictates these poor dogs, who are most likely already traumatized and are stuck in the middle in these types of cases, as property. Thankfully, sweet Tony🩵made it through and was adopted into a loving home🏠
