I have been admiring your sketches and you have a good eye for capturing the feel of a place. Agree that the derelict industrial areas can be fascinating - we have lots of declining industry here in Northern England which are full of interest. Hope to see more of your work soon.
Your Snaps are much more lively than what my DSLR catches... And believe me I have captured quite a lot... Your Sketchbooks looks like it's digitally printed and published 😍😍 you are an amazing and resilient artist Mate 👍🏼👍🏼 Keep Splashing colorful pages 😍 its relaxing to watch, i can only imagine how much you would have enjoyed creating ❤️
It has been days only since i discoverd this kind of drawing scenario, so called 'urban sketching' . I had drawn once, and i learn techniques through watching your sketchbook. Thanks to you i got ideas now how i can improve sketching live images.
I’ve just finished watching all your sketchbook walkthroughs. There are so beautiful and it’s a real treat to hear all your stories that accompany them. I hope you had a good time in Ireland and that you got a warm welcome here. Did you meet up with Roisin Cure and the Galway Urban sketchers?
Thanks so much! Unfortunately, I had limited time in Ireland and was traveling with a friend. I'll have to make it back another time - and hopefully meet up with other urban sketchers then! :-)
Beautiful work, Danny! I love how each sketch/painting has defined edges, as if a torn page from a magazine. I look forward to having sketch books that are as polished and consistent. Thank you for your video!
I meant to ask ... do you do a pencil sketch first? Also what fountain pen do you use. For writing I use a safari fountain pen, might try sketching with it as an experiment.😊
Wow! You are so very talented! Sure would love to see live tutorials as you sketch and then paint!
