That’s a fact! I have a hollow Cuban link chain, looks good. It gets kinks. Caught 1, tried to in tangle it & it broke. Continually gets kinks & now I wanna a solid. I haven’t tried to trade it or melt it. Took it back to the original place of purchase but I can notice where it broke. Like you said, the weight is trash 20 grams.
Ya I agree 100%!!! The Monaco chain has held up so far though surprisingly but I'm replacing all my hollow and gold plated pieces with the real thing, I'm about halfway there.

Rope chains are the worst type of hollow gold jewelry to buy bro. Its significantly easier to damage and harder to fix
