I was using the meta breaker deck from the other day to great success. Would you keep both Prof and Spider-man or cut one? If the latter, what would you pop in instead?
I still like having both! I generally only used one each game and it was always on 5. Now we just don't get that extra kitty pryde bounce with spider man,but I do like having both for the consistency of almost always having one in hand by 5!
I honestly think the change to rogue enables another powerful tech card I to c2. Not only would she be getting a +4 making her a 3/6 she also able to steal yet another blue marvel or iron man/onslaught to buff power states.
@@peterkefalos7430 couldn't agree more but as most players are aware of an enchantress they shouldn't be stacking to many ongoing effects and you can some what select the effect based on your bored state. I tested it out this morning and won 7 out of 7 games and only drawing into cerebro combo once
Can you also confirm it for me man, that ghost-spider can return your destroyed card when it was your last card played. It happened to me twice in danger room
i think im going to use medusa over lizard in decks that just use them as early power. worse case senario for medusa is playing her in another lane and shes 2 power while for lizard if they fill their side hes 1 power. so unless i have anything else that synergizes with lizard like luke cage or enchantres im gonna use medusa
I am digging these amazing otas' and ressurecting non existent cards, SD is doing so good work on one hand but still hasn't resolved the card aquisition issue. Instead just getting greedy with the drops. Iron lad seems so fun in these decks yet not enough tokens to get it 😞. Didnt even dropped Jeff to S4.
This is a weird OTA today. Very happy with the Rouge and Medusa buff, I immediately made a C5 to use her. The Hood nerf was honestly pointless, you almost never play it without some way to remove the negative power. The Spider-Man change just feels bad, he’s just a worse Prof X now for the same cost and I wouldn’t say is worth it. The beast change feels warranted because of how strong hit monkey and Kitty bounce is. Good card decks are always good, half Medusa can finally see some play
Just to remind you how many decks are there that prioretize prof x over spider man? The fact that spider man is 4 power and can be lessen by zabu gives him so much usability unlike prof x which you need to use daredevil for safe usage.

Yes! I climbed to infinite on my alt with the meta breaker deck tonight. He's definitely still viable I think it just hurts high evo control a bit harder
Iron Lad is very good card. But sorry, I dont have enough token to buy all pool5. Ill wait until he drop or SD annouce that he will be stay at pool5 forever. I fell so bad about Zabu and Darkhawk
Honestly, I'm glad of the Spider-Man nerf. I've found the HE lockout decks to be pretty frustrating to play against. Unlike Professor X, Spider-Man was a really safe lockout play to make. Shut down a lane for an opponent, and often play Kitty or power-up your Cyclops/Hulk/Misty/Sunspot, while keeping the option open for next turn. Professor X locking you out too is riskier, since if you guess wrong there's often very little you can do to win the lane. A single energy probably matters enough shave off a few edges from Spider-Man. One side perk: he can't shut down the Avenger's Compound. Sure, there's still Galactus issues, but Galactus isn't an OTA change but would require a real patch. Perhaps next week?

Spider-Man into Strange Academy is a clear one, but just the big one that if you make a mistake with Strange, you've usually locked down a win for your opponent. Spider-Man doesn't have so much risk, but his best case isn't as good. And there's also the case where move or side-ways cards like Doom aren't in the deck, where everything is vanilla and no tricks, and Spider-Man just has more power.
I'm hoping that it's just a piece to an overall rework! For more then Stat changes it requires a full client patch instead of Ota and I would assume the solve for galactus that they hinted at would be more then just Stat changes. (Maybe I'm just optimistic though lol)
Spiderman change wont impact the meta decks, galactus doesnt care at all since you use him after waving galactus, and where you had spiderman and proffesor x you know only play spiderman lie the most popular control decks

Other than Doom and Wong there are no core pool 3+ cards in this deck
You can take out lad and thor for wolfsbane and storm! You'll focus more on going wide instead of tall most of the time!

You gotta be particular about what you steal tho otherwise she could throw off the whole deck

HE seems to be a little better so far. They're both good, flexible picks, though. It really depends on which decks look more fun to play to you.
It's a great card, every time I see its deck I auto-retreat unless I have room for Luke Cage.

Contrary to Prof X, you CAN add power to the lane after playing Spider-Man, so I don't think it's a worse Prof X.
Spider-Man will still be better than Prof X in some decks like Galactus for example

sure except you can move cards to or from spiderman, and do things like white tiger, doom, etc. its so much worse than pro x for same cost now
