Still sad about Brian Kendrick. In his younger days, he was fantastic with Paul London. I always liked the dude, even in his singles runs. When he returned as a veteran, his in ring style was really intriguing and unique. He still had some of his classic moveset, but he simplified things in a super smart way by using the ring itself as a weapon. His finisher, Sliced Bread, would have been my finisher if I had ever learned to wrestle (it's been my video game finisher for like a decade plus), and I even considered seeking out his training school if I was going to learn. It's so sad how stupid conspiracy theories are able to brain-rot people.
I feel that pain so much. Rey Mysterio was what got me into wrestling during the Summerslam 2005 stuff and Batista being Filipinoi (as I'm part Filipino and was in the Philippines when I heard of wrestling), but I stayed for London and Kendrick, cheering them as they got their tag team championships, had watched their armageddon ladder match so many times, got their autographs for No mercy 2007 and even loved how Ashley was their partner. Now look at what happened to all three of them: one is dead, one is a degenerate and one is retired and his reputation tarnished for a smiling incident. It really hurts to look back at those days when London, Kendrick and Ashley raced into the ring and what's happened to them nearly 20 years later.

Still sad about Brian Kendrick. In his younger days, he was fantastic with Paul London. I always liked the dude, even in his singles runs. When he returned as a veteran, his in ring style was really intriguing and unique. He still had some of his classic moveset, but he simplified things in a super smart way by using the ring itself as a weapon. His finisher, Sliced Bread, would have been my finisher if I had ever learned to wrestle (it's been my video game finisher for like a decade plus), and I even considered seeking out his training school if I was going to learn. It's so sad how stupid conspiracy theories are able to brain-rot people.
I feel that pain so much. Rey Mysterio was what got me into wrestling during the Summerslam 2005 stuff and Batista being Filipinoi (as I'm part Filipino and was in the Philippines when I heard of wrestling), but I stayed for London and Kendrick, cheering them as they got their tag team championships, had watched their armageddon ladder match so many times, got their autographs for No mercy 2007 and even loved how Ashley was their partner. Now look at what happened to all three of them: one is dead, one is a degenerate and one is retired and his reputation tarnished for a smiling incident. It really hurts to look back at those days when London, Kendrick and Ashley raced into the ring and what's happened to them nearly 20 years later.

Brian Kendrick actually has been doing independents ever since. You wouldn’t know because it’s obvious you did nearly no research. I worked a few shows that he was on. He is actually a really decent and humble guy who just said a lot of dumb stuff to try to be edgy when he was younger.

I first saw Jimmy Havoc on a Defiant/WCPW card on TH-cam and I instantly was drawn towards him just because of his gimmick alone, but in my opion the talent never stands above the person. Benoit is the best example for this: was he an amazing worker? I never saw his in ring work, but aperantly he was. But he took three lifes in cold blood and so his in ring talent doesn't matter anymore, he will forever be a murderer
I used to know Jimmy in passing, my brother helped train him, he wrestled at the club I worked the bar at. He was always friendly to me because of my brother. A friend of a friend raised some serious red flags about him and sadly when the allegations came out I wasn't surprised. What an absolute ballbag.

I'm not sure if I'd call someone who was never signed on as a contracted wrestler for the company, and had what would have been their only appearance for AEW canceled before it happened, an AEW Degenerate. Not saying that Kendrick isn't a wrestling degenerate for the conspiracy theory nonsense that he pushed, just that he barely even counts as an AEW wrestler.
The Jimmy Havoc one hurt. I was a big fan of him in Progress and ICW, and loved him winning CZW's Tournament of Death one year. I even got to do a training seminar with him years ago when he came to Australia for MCW, and he was such a chilled guy. I'm in 2 different minds now. I condemn what he did and is unforgivable, but the guy does need help with mental and substance issues
