In this video I am going to show you how to do 2 strand twists. These are ESSENTIAL in natural hair styling and they are so versatile, You can dress them up or down, ponytail them, wear them down, and when they begin to look old, you can untwist them for a beautiful twist out. Not only that, they are easy and quicker than braids. I hope this video proves helpful for you, especially if you are trying to learn how to do natural hair!

Game changer. I used to kind of exaggerate the turn as I pass over and slightly pull the two pieces to have the hair taught.
I love the tip about twisting outward. I watched alot of videos on double strand twist. I always have an issue doing the back of my hair. My front and sides come out good but my back I always have to much spacing. Most start with the back and work their way to the front but it doesn't work for me. Help!

I did not know outward twisting existed. It makes a difference. You are not wasting people's time. Keep it up! Many black women grow up never truly knowing how to take care of our 'natural' hair. I know I did.
I’m biracial & was raised in an all white family. My hair was super short when I was younger because my mom didn’t know how to take care of it and once I got old enough I had it relaxed for over 25 years, just because it was easier for me. Now due to health issues I can’t use chemicals anymore so I’ve been natural going on 3 years now after losing my hair to Lupus. I’m 47 & JUST learning how to do this to my hair now. This definitely isn’t a waste of time!! Videos like these are an absolute lifesaver for me because I am finally learning how to properly care & style my hair for once in my life.

My aha moment #1 was how u took the time to show EXACTLY the direction & explained how to flip the fingers as u twist. #2 was how u showed if the hair is more fine than dense to not do them directly on top but place them in between. THAT makes ALLLL the difference. Thank u so much for this! I can now do them on my man’s dense hair & my son’s curly fine hair!!

Haha, you got me! I've never done the outward twist thing and always wondered why my hair wouldn't last very long. I'm going natural on my own and neither my mom nor I really know how to do protective styles so this video was definitely an ah-ha moment all around. Thank you!

I've watched so many DIY videos for hair care and I've noticed that there is so much going on in the videos beyond the tutorial that I just give up. I which there was a place to go to get your natural hair cared for, including natural hairstyles that are not always weave, wigs, pressing etc. Please continue to share you information. Knowledge is power, and natural hair needs to become a priority for young people. Especially black and brown girls because it's beautiful too.

This is amazing! I've been twisting my hair for years but could never determine why my twists only look decent on day 1. Thank you for dropping so many " gems" in this video. I think the secret sauce is the braiding technique which I've done wrong all these years and focusing more on saturating my hair with product vs. technique once again 🙄. Your video has definitely been beneficial to me, from the type of products to use, the better way to part my hair, and then correct way to make the twists. My twists look good the first day and then start separating and demanding I redo them if I want to look decent. THANK YOU for clearing something up for me! I'm going to *attempt* to do my hair myself this weekend, and I just assumed that the extra slight "quarter twist" before a "full" twist, was supposed to be done on both strands of hair at the same time, and then do a full twist.
