My uncle hsd this same car in a coupe (with a rear seat). The dusl carburetor setup was called "Compound Carburetion" and ate gasoline like you owned a gas station, at 8 MPG driving conseratively. Most owners, like my uncle had them removed and had a single 2 barrel carburetor/manifold setup installed.

Amazing that you can buy a beautiful antique car like this for less than the price for a new car. I bet it's long gone by now.
