Most people have no idea how much time it takes to place cameras, get right angles, etc etc The editing can take hours. I'm just curious...since this season was 8 marten and 1 white fox. What season was the best you ever experienced? And how much fur did you get then? Just curious. Love that country. Very welcome David. The best season was around when I first started trapping out there. I had my brothers traps and I set a lot of traps everywhere. No established lines then. 125 pelts I think. Which were marten, foxes, wolves and wolverines. Then someone stole all his traps and I moved a few years later after starting the new cabin. It all worked out and I’m getting up there in traps again. I want 300 marten traps out in the next few seasons but want a total of 450 to 500 traps out.
@True North Living right on Norm. That's incredible. 125 pelts with that kind of species variety is awesome. Hope next year works out well for you. Its always a good thing just to be at the cabin. The season started off on the rough side and we dont have a lot of fur to show but that means we have more to catch next year! Have a good summer Norm and I hope you will drop a video often to help us make it to next year. Take care my friend.

Very welcome David. The best season was around when I first started trapping out there. I had my brothers traps and I set a lot of traps everywhere. No established lines then. 125 pelts I think. Which were marten, foxes, wolves and wolverines. Then someone stole all his traps and I moved a few years later after starting the new cabin. It all worked out and I’m getting up there in traps again. I want 300 marten traps out in the next few seasons but want a total of 450 to 500 traps out.

Its always a good thing just to be at the cabin. The season started off on the rough side and we dont have a lot of fur to show but that means we have more to catch next year! Have a good summer Norm and I hope you will drop a video often to help us make it to next year. Take care my friend.
