although not old enough to be totally nostalgic, I find it always a shame that such beautiful voices are a little too much treated, or 'prevented' .. I would always think that a banjo not always perfect and a guitar, allied with two beautiful voices worked since childhood, are better than a plugin. Your song is really beautiful, I only regret not to hear you really. do not make you eat by the sound engineers please ! you are both wonderful.
O guess you've never seen them perform live. I have - often and in different types of settings. The voices here are not engineered. It's really them, not some soundboard.
I hear you, thank you, and I envy you, because living in France, I will never hear them. I have trouble making myself understood, but I'm sorry, their voice is better here: th-cam.com/video/nG5hJAy5fl0/w-d-xo.html I know that neither of them is Maybelle Carter on the guitar or the banjo, but the voice is the most beautiful thing I know. voices are attenuated in this song, in favor of much less interesting elements. That's what I deplored. This song, under which we talk, is very pretty, and structured, but their voice is in itself an instrument to put forward, not to integrate in something inferior that would make any average singer. Once again, thank you for your message, mine does not really matter, except that : until today, it is the most beautiful version of 'I will never Mary' i've never listen to. bless you
