I’ve been waiting and waiting and looking and looking for YEARS for someone to react to this movie. It is an absolute treat. It is a joy to watch. It is absolutely one of my favorite movies of all time. Thank you so much for giving this a chance. Now hopefully some more reactors will get on board.
Enjoyed it. Hard to believe there's only a couple of reactions to this film on TH-cam. My fave of Peter Bogdonovich's films with "The Last Picture Show" a close second.
This movie was done in black and white to elicit an aura of nostalgia. It was made in 1973. News flash they had color then. The movie set in the 1930s during the depression when films were in black and white.
Finally someone smart enough to watch Paper Moon and What's Up Doc. Spend more time on the classics whether in color or black and white. Don't worry, you won't catch VD if you watch black and white movies...but you WILL get a real education on how and why movies should be made that don't rely on special effects, sensationalism, bad scripts and language, and gratuitous, mindless violence. You can see that crap on the news every day.
Thank You. I've been asking reviewers to react to this movie forever. I saw it in the the theater when it first came out.

Ryan and Tatum O'Neil are real life father and daughter.
