- In this DIY, I show you how to make beautiful Cupcake Candles! this tutorial is super easy, ideal for beginners and you can do it with things you already have on your house, Cupcake candles would make a great addition to any birthday party and can be used to gift to a friend and also as room decor enjoy!!
materials:
4 candles (2 for cup and 2 for frosting)
2 baking cups
something to hold the baking cup
sprinkles
oil pastels or crayons or oil colorant
oil fragrance (optional)

You can use silicone cupcake liners which are really cheap. You reuse them and very easy to un mould.

DO NOT USE OIL PASTELS TO COLOR YOUR CANDLES AS IT IS HIGHLY TOXIC ! ( Use wax crayons instead ) It could be alright only if you used these candles as decorations... But your cupcake design overall is really great :O
+ToxicRedRose thanks for the recomendation, I just used a tiny bit amount because they are really pigmented (2:17) and these are kids crayons but just in case I will use regular crayons next time :) www.maped.com/en/oil-pastels.html

How long did it take for the "batter" to cool enough to put the "frosting" on top? I tried it before I saw this video and ended up putting it in the freezer for a few minutes but the frosting didn't really stick that well. I was hoping to do this for a birthday party this morning.
Its quick.. you dont have to put it on the fridge. It will be warm when u put it on top
