Great video, very useful. I heard many people saying it was impossible. Or that you needed a kiln, which is not practical for this size of glass. Can't wait to try. Thanks
Hello Alex . Thankyou for the free content. I am tryin to cut 2 inches of the side of my sliding glass door panels. They are laminated and 2m long. My first attemp was not so good. Is it possible to do? Thanks again and take care . I hope you and your family are doing well in this crazy time
Yes it is possible the smaller you have to cut off the harder it is you will definitely need some glass pliers if you don’t have any some regular pliers can work it’s just harder
I am trying to cut safety glass and I can't any consisnt lines. I spent 3 hours last Sunday just ruining glass. I haven't gotten enough sucess to know what Im doing right or wrong. Im trying to cut pieces 4" x 43". Ive been cleaning the glass before every cut. I have a professional class cutter. Do I need a carpeted table? If I can get the scribbed line to pop without deviating im good. The fire and the razor work great. I just can't break a straight line.😢
Carpeted table helps but not completely necessary the smaller the piece to cut usually a bit a harder to cut but 4” strip shouldn’t e to bad without seeing exactly what you’re doing it’s hard to help. Not sure what u you’ve tried either
After you score it apply pressure upward underneath the score with your fingers and do it all the way across the bottom until you can see it run across your whole score
no this video is use laminated glass which is two panes of standard glass with a plastic sheet glued in the middle of it. this is why i can be cut. Tempered glass can not be cut. it will shatter if you try what is in this video.
Thanks Alex. I've never cut glass before. Your video was great. I'm going to give it a try.👍👍
The first bit, up to slicing it after the use of the torch, did it. That's what I was looking for. Thank you!

Question. I hear you saying pass one time to cut the glass but I see you doing it twice so the first time is that just to get a line?
Yeah. Or more to make sure I’m going to cut it where I need it, the first time I really don’t put pressure on the cutter
Great video, volume would have been better.
Thanks.. bad speakers on my phone
Sir it is tafan glass please tell me
I have to cut a tempered shower glass panel. Will this method work?
