@@baldlyrudy that's great! But does it's increases FPS in biggest part of the games?
Yes. It's all in how the data is handled by the OS.
Hello, nice video so i just have to press recommended and thats it ?
Yup. It applies all the recommended settings for everything.
@baldlyrudy oh wow, thanks, and thank you for the quickest response. 🙌🏼
No worries! Hope it all goes well. 🙌
How do I type to create the password if no keyboard shows ?
Get an external keyboard that's USB and connect it with the dock. Another option is to use the shortcut to bring up the keyboard while in desktop mode. Press the Steam Button and X.
That didn’t work for me at all :(
My fps for Doom went down to 10 fps and lower, gave up with it.
Yeah. The first time I did it, the performance didn't change much. For some reason, after the second install, it improved performance. Not sure why, if I'm honest.
@@baldlyrudy I've tried it about 4 times, on off, etc.. reboot. Given up now, back to stock
Damn. That's a shame. Sorry to hear that dude. But you've gotta do what's best for your gaming experience. I don't blame you.
And it appears to eat more battery, right? thanks but no thanks.
Battery consumption should be so small, that it shouldn't even really be noticed. We're talking fractions of a percentage. You might need to reinstall again.
I am in dire need of knowing
OMG YOUR NOT LYING I AM GETTING 60 FPS ON BEAMNG DRIVE NOW
Trust is a currency. Happy gaming. 🍻
@ I was kinda nervous I was scared that I was gonna get hacked and I got nervous reading the terms and I rewatched your video twice going over the steps carefully making sure I missed nothing but Im on an oled and I got cyroutilites 2.0 instead of the non 2.0 is that bad
@Idkmyname-k6g nope. I'm in the same boat. I'm running 2.0 on an OLED.
I installed with cryyobytes instructions, he didnt go into vram to change anything, shiuld i do it even though I’ve already installed it??? I have a bunch of decky loader things and i dont want to break them
Hmm....I personally don't have much experience with Decky Loader (that's something I'm going to tinker with for the next video.) My assumption is that it won't break anything. You're just freeing up more VRAM in the BIOS. Just do some research to be sure.
i notice no difference at all. final fantasy xiv still runs at a disappointing 40 fps at laptop low settings. i hate the steam deck
That sucks. Get a Windows handheld then. ROG Ally or Ally X, Legion Go, or MSI Claw (don't get the Claw).
@@baldlyrudy blew all my money on steam deck

Do you ever need that fake password again?
Yeah. For any other application that needs the same level of access. EmuDeck is another application that needs out, for example.
@@baldlyrudy Ok, thanks. I'll just have to make a little text file on the desktop, cause I'll forget it

The password is whatever you want it to be. It won't show anything as you're typing, but it'll still register with the system.
