What do you mean "pinch the tree" and how is it done?

At the top of the limb of the is a pointed node just pinch it off to encourage bushy growth and fruit sets.

Thank you for the update. The fig tree without figs might need root pruning if it has been more than 3 years in the container.

Figs looking good. Waiting for them to ripen. I only got 3 figs from 3 trees last yr. They all loaded this yr.
