Omg, I am sooo far behind in my work cuz I watched this till the very end. Jaw dropping from beginning to end. The pots! The plants! The knowledge! The passion! The love! The cozy space! More than I could take in at one sitting. Gonna go out right now and stroke my desert rose plants and tell them how much I love them.
My mouth is still hitting the floor, OMG....what a collection. I've got huge plant envy. How talented is this man, his pottery creations are just spectacular. Such an awesome collection. Thanks for sharing.

GLORY TO GOD FOR HAVING GIVEN YOU SUCH TALENT, PASSION, ENDURANCE AND LOVE. GOD BLESS.LUV SO MUCH YOUR SMALL POTS- SO ORGANIC AND UNIQUE! NO WORDS TO CALL YOUR CREATION .CONGRATULATIONS SIR ROBERT! Has there been another visit to see them all in foliage and bloom yet?? His entire collection and setup is just wow. And the pots and staging is just next level.
12:20 nice editing dude. Caught me off guard! Edit: on the bonsai: I also grow bonsai and I have some 'shito' bonsai. It means fingertip sized bonsai and you can carry the pots on your finger. Gotta water those twice a day, on a not so hot day. To deal with this better I just dumped it in a bigger pot (from 2cm diameter and 1cm deep to ~8×18cm, 6 cm deep) without holes, completely filled with akadama. You leave it in the little pot. That way you only have to water every ~2 days, but it will still grow nicely into the little pot. Kinda like the mimosa tree! Bonsai means plant in pot, so technically everything planted in a pot is bonsai. But we just mean people apply bonsai techniques to (potted, altough not necesarry, lots of bonsai are field grown and then wired and chopped while in the ground to increase growth rate and health of the bondsi) to a plant. So I personally definitely agree with those portacularias being bonsai :)
Thank you for this video.. (even though it was a year ago)! Hunter, you are a true lover of cacti and succulents- and that is so rare! Robert’s plants… & pots!… are amazing!🤩 I’ve found a couple on Etsy, and I am just LOVING THEM! Your pots truly make the plant more special. Thank you 🙏. Tara
If i live in a state where Succulent thrive i would definitely my front yard would look like his lol so beautiful! All of my Succulent died few weeks ago from Phx heat wave in just 1 week. They were all fried 😡 i had too throw them away couldn't save it.
I love love Robert’s garden and pots!!!! Love to learn how to make pot myself!! Please give me some advice where and how am I get started??? I’m a plants and pots lover myself. Just found your channel “cactus quest” today!
THANK YOU for this video! I love all the succulents, but now I’m most interested in the pots! I want to make my own pots! How do I find a good studio? I’m in Sacramento.
Focea, adeniums, and lophophora are my favorites! I'm in LA from Northern California and I'm looking for my people... when is the succulent sale happening?
My favorite way to display fockeas is by using some aquarium driftwood (especially the spider variant) to make a trellis. In nature they tend to grow under other shrubs, eventually taking it over (often killing it in the process lol). So not only are you showing how it's growing normally but you're also making it happy by giving it a nice trellis
I tried to look up the Lidaboreas and can't find anything. I tried different spellings and just had no luck. A lady at a greenhouse where I used to live 12 years ago gave me a few small bulbs and now I have a huge pot full. Always wondered what it was.
