Hi! Is there any way to get data from a Siemens PLC and this IOT2050 using Profinet? I have tested raspberry pi based IPC computers but I can’t find a way to get data from a PLC using profinet. I have tested snap7 for python but it is not fast enough. Thanks!
Well the question is - do you really.need profinet for it? Profinet is great for IOs as it's deterministic. For IT/OT integration protocols like MQTT, pure TCP or JSON RPC would probably make more sense. Check our other videos where we cover these

how long does it take to boot? iot2020 - boots in more than 4 min. ( including node-red)

Did siemens just repackaged a cheap Raspberry PI and sell them at 10x the price? Good intro but that's all I can see from this device!
