  • A Boxing Day special. You may know that within three days in 2021, Scott Boland became the second Aboriginal man to play Test cricket for Australia, and then the first Australian to win the Johnny Mullagh medal, awarded to the best player in the Boxing Day Test and named after the great Aboriginal cricketer who toured England in 1868. You may not know the story of Unaarramin, the man who became known as Johnny Mullagh, or the story of how the medal reached the MCG in 2021. Josie Sangster is the manager of the Johnny Mullagh Interpretive Centre, a museum about the 1868 tour in the Victorian country town of Harrow, where most of the players were from. She takes us through an illuminating and inspiring Final Word.

Very well done Geoff and Adam. Its beautiful to see that Australian cricket is adapting more and more the indigenous history of Australia and who better to be on the forefront of it then the legend himself, Scotty Boland!
