Verdansk can be looked at as the good ol days. We didnt know how good it was until it was gone. Maybe it was covid i dunno but man i could play for hours chasing that next win and it never seemed like a chore to play. Looking back that map and the way it played was perfect

They had the recipe why would they change something so good ? It makes no sense. The game was so good it killed the then new Battlefield 2040 something....a waste

CoD may not have ever been “realistic” of course, but the game atleast had a military theme and it stuck to it. The multiplayer felt like an expansion of the campaign, showcasing battles on maps with opposing factions. Cod4, MW2, WaW etc. every soldier looked like an actual soldier. Now there’s Godzilla, Kong, Nicki Minaj, Demons, players on fire, guns turning people into comic effects, anime, neon skins, it’s all just become a big mess of random shit, it just isn’t the same. I am glad I atleast got to live in the golden era of CoD, but now I don’t know what the fuck it is.
It is hard to describe to people who missed out just how much fun Warzone 2020 Season 5 was. That was the absolute pinnacle of the game. It has literally been an undulating decline ever since.

Love this video as I was not fond of Warzone 1 when it came out because I was more into Fortnite. So when Warzone 2 came out that’s when I joined but the passion for cod was re-ignited from 7th grade. But I hated the gameplay but the content and my friends kept me playing. Now the game is great and I’m way better at the game now I have a yt channel. So the goes to say I’m now up to date with the info from wz1 and man I wished I played wz1 more like I am today. They should've let the community organize it self we had everything figured, with the websites that gave you track of your progression in the game, tournaments...who ever cut that is stupid beyond words, you had it all and no one came close
It would be cool for live events that don't directly connect to the next game's story to have multiple endings. For example, actually being to exfil in the Vanguard Reveal Event or being able to exfil from the zombies in the Nuke Event. Keep in mind the "don't directly connect to next game" because that was what happened with the MWIII Reveal Event; Konni undercovers getting the chemicals out from the event to use in the next game's campaign.
It's sad that OG Warzone looks graphically superior to what we have today. Todays game looks like a ported mobile game with horrendous visibility, especially in gunfights.
They need to make warzone like warzone 1 (2019) and blackout 2.0 for black ops games. We dont need 20 different laser sights and 1000 camos either focus on the actual game call of duty
I have been a Warzone player, not a COD player. But it's sad to say that Warzone never become the game it was during MW2019 Verdansk. Sure, the pandemic and the memories of that time period of playing with friends helped. But Caldera was a nightmare, the game lost huge playercount during this period of time. The versions of Warzone that followed always had big potential but unfortunately the game never felt finished. It has been plagued by bugs, bad audio and unbalanced weaponry. That in combination with the fact that the game has become a moneygrab from Activision with a ridiculous pay-to-win strategy made me one of the many players that really lost trust in the future of the game and recently dropped off.
Personally, I love the Nebula V bomb especially when planted it in Airport and once it went off, I got a 32 kill count in the region lol. I love these retrospectives and I can’t wait for the ten year retrospective

watch season 2 of every year, the downgrade in graphics to weapons and even some mechanics is pretty obvious. MW 2019 & OG Verdansk 2020 was peak, everything after that just flopped the game.
