How to Write a Letter of Continued Interest

Have you applied for early decision at a university, but been deferred? Don’t give up! You still have the opportunity to submit a Letter of Continued Interest (LOCI), telling the university why you’d still like to be considered. This video will explain what to do if you haven’t been accepted to your college of choice during early decision but want to be considered and stand out during regular decision. If you are a high school student or have a student in your family who’s applied for early decision, follow these steps to increase your chances of acceptance during the next round.

Right? Some specific schools offer both Early Decision and Regular Decision. For students stuck in between the two, the Letter of Continued Interest can be so helpful!

Thanks for your question,@@adnanansari9722 . Once a student receives a deferment, they can go ahead and write their LOCI right away. The key will be sending it to the right person. They'll need to look for someone who "knows their case"-not the head of the school but someone closer to their application.
