I dont know if you noticed but Jonghyun shifted to Japanese within the performance. The live was from a concert in Japan (Tokyo Dome 55k people).. why he also sang part in Japanese.
Jonghyun's vocals were great in the MV for "Crazy (Guilty Pleasure)," but now you understand what we mean when we say SHINee live is on a whole other level. :D What I love about his live performances is that he even covers the rap parts himself. Because SM originally wanted to make SHINee a hip-hop group, all the members were trained in rap. So all the members are actually pretty good rappers. They are all so multi-talented that any one of them can cover the rap sections in their songs. And, as you just saw, when a featured artist is unable to participate in any performance they just cover the whole song themselves. Like all of Jonghyun's solo songs, "Crazy (Guilty Pleasure)" was also wrote and composed by him, so the whole vibe of this song was designed by him. And that is why he was so highly respected as a singer/songwriter and why he was one of the first and very few Idols to really be considered a true songwriter and composer. He was a genius when it came to making music and he chose very carefully which songs he wanted to release himself and what kind of message he wanted to give. He never released music just because he thought it would be a hit, but everything he did was meticulously planned and designed by him to make an impact regardless of whether it would be a hit from the the moment it was released. All his music had a deeper message. He was a true artist in all aspects of the music industry. Yes, I interpret the spider to represent a black widow and how she is controlling him and driving him crazy. He is stuck in her beautiful web, etc. She is his guilty pleasure. The Korean version of "Crazy (Guilty Pleasure)" was his lead track on is solo debut album Base from 2O15. However, this live performance was a solo stage from SHINee's SHINee World Concert 2016 in Japan, because Jonghyun has pink hair, and the only time he had pink hair was during his She Is comeback promotions, which was in 2016. :D And if you notice, the live version is the Japanese version of his song. The members of SHINee are fluent in Japanese and when they hold concerts in Japan their concerts are almost entirely in Japanese. So Jonghyun performed the Japanese version. You did well Jonghyun, our angel and diamond in the sky.

It became a remake , I believe I love it when Alejandro sings this song, it's actually one of my favorite songs of his, but when Jonghyun does it it's a very different feeling and I like it a little more and it must be because the feeling of the song is completely different in Alexandro he hopes to find someone to love and Jonghyun has the despair of losing the one he loves. Many people think Jonghyun wrote the lyrics, but it's not true that it was kenzie, Jonghyun recorded this solo song on SHINee's first full album when he was just 18 years old, just 3 months after his debut, no way would SM have given that responsibility even a talented boy like Jonghyun, but it's possible that he gave some feedback on that because there were rumors that Hyeya was the name of an ex of Jonghyun before he became an idol, but it was just kkkk rumors. The show was recorded at one of SHINee's shows, I think in 2012 in Japan. He was 21/22 years old, he did a live in 2008, but most fans ask for this one because it shows Jonghyun's interpretation on another level, to be honest I love both performances but I love the first one more because I can put my full attention on his vocals.
