@@enobongthomas1138 Kevin Bond was doing it in the 1970s-1980s, and became a SuperProducer in the late 1980s to now. Jason came up in the late 1980s and 1990s. They were doing all the hollywood and Disney stuff you heard back then (and now). Jason is with Kanye (now). When producer/director needed a black church sound, the producer would run down the tree from them. They worked with Quincy and anyone who came through Hollywood and Los Angeles. You could hit them up, and one of them could produce multiple commercial ready audio from black sound to jazz. They ran the West Coast for decades (and even now). The last guy that really came out of that group is probably Bereal , where they play everything and sing. One trait of them all, is super producer of playing and doing everything. Even John P. Kee went to the west coast and grabbed some of their musicians and brought them back to the East Coast to get that Hollywood (West Angeles C.O.G.I.C.) sound. I'm on the East Coast. I was one of the guys who grew up playing on the East from like 1996 as a boy to ~2020. I still play for church, secular, and albums, but it ain't like it used to be.
