Hey, guitar fans! You may not know this, but live music and busking has been banned in Vancouver. I can no longer play on the street. My career as a live musician is over. My only income is from my original music. If you enjoyed this video, please support by downloading some of my original and extended guitar jams on bandcamp. Huge selection of rock, funk, jazz, ambient, and all instrumental. I make zero from TH-cam as I don’t run ads. Let’s keep creativity alive! thesixmilliondollarguitar.bandcamp.com
This show came out when I was around 12 years old and the show inspired me so much that as I got older I got into actually making artificial limbs as a hobby and it led to an internship working at a local prosthetics company.these days I invent things like pet vehicles for my gerbils and hamster and exo-bionic wearable frames.one such design I've come up with let's the wearer function like a preying mantis.i once actually built a working bionic eye using a fishing bobber with a mini security camera built inside with infrared capacity and it could plug directly into my tv video port.nice music score by the way!👍
the most fantastic version from Holmes with this Crazy tOM sCOTT hORNS - I got it on tape since 1987 took on radio session ! my best remember from kid time - 1970's - great Oliver Nelson ! OUR SPECIAL TIME AERA MUSIC
I'm almost 54 and had a Steve Austin action figure and a lunch box and thermos with him on it. This was when I was in 3rd grade. Oh the good old days.😃 Now I have all the shows on DVD.
In the beginning seasons They had some sound effects but?? Steve Austin didn't even have the bionic sound effect yet it was all music that did it and it worked... To this day? I find it utterly incredible!!!
Sempre li seu nome, nos créditos da Série O Homem De Seis Milhões De Dólares.Composer Oliver Nelson! Hoje, tive a ideia de pesquisa-lo no Google e no TH-cam...SHOW! Duque de Caxias 31/05/2020 .
@RayfieldA I knew it was black music as a kid in the 1970's. Listen to the congos and bongos! Too bad great jazz and jazz fusion like this has been erased by hip hop and rap music as if it is the best thing to ever happen to black culture. Oliver Nelson did the first three seasons and the music was great! There were also contributions from Miles Davis!
Since his bionic arm had to be neurologically linked to his nervous system they opted to link it physically to his spinal column. A strong surgical metal alloy would also couple to his bionic legs, which solve the force without fulcrum problem.
@@shatnershairpiece That’s a shame. Oliver Nelson did some awesome music from the tv show! Film Score Monthly, or LA LA LAND Records (they release soundtrack scores) Should have pursued this score!!!
Jay Thompson....supreme intellectual, a man barely able to tolerate BS and wackness....gentleman we can rebuild him. We have the technology, we have the capability to make the world's first bionic man, Jay Thompson will be that man. Better than he was before.....better, smarter, less tolerable of BS.
Why doesn't Lee Majors have a line of clothing or running shoes (!) or hats or lighters or cigars or bumper stickers? Harley Davidson or Levi's or some all-American, worldwide-recognised-and-lusted-for merchandising brand should have realised they would have made a 6-billion dollar killing even in the 1970's.
D84D, you said: " Oh why if the SMDM used his bionic arm to lift a car why didn't the rest of his non bionic body then collapse?" that's because you have no imagination, bro. I was BORN in 1972 and the SMDM was God (still is, I dare say). Ever heard of suspension of disbelief? As in Santa Claus? The Tooth Fairy?
We can rebuild him!!! Oh why if the SMDM used his bionic arm to lift a car why didn't the rest of his non bionic body then collapse?? Been wondering that since 2nd grade 1972.

Man. It truly seems that Trudeau is really has become a PAIN in Canada's A$$! He needs to be voted out somehow!
Dude,just move!
What an amazing & dramatic rendition of The Six Million Dollar Man theme song!
When Oliver passed, the show wasn't the same including the fantastic music for it he produced. What a great composer.

This music is so uniquely American, I love it. Hip-hop and rap killed great music like this. I hope it makes a comeback one day soon.
Oh please.
I love this time when movie and tv show themes became insane hits.
That music gives me life
Nice! Now I see why certain tunes on the show had African rhythms! I'm SO glad to know this!!!
Sounds cool and funky.
He did. I had the full leisure suit, collar and paisley shirt to boot, with bell bottoms. It was 1976. I was seven. I was cool.
I’m 51 and this still makes me want to have a slow motion fight with my brother. I was Steve Austin and always made him the crook 🤣
Man u need ur az wupped lmfao 🤣

I wish they would do an Oliver Nelson SMDM soundtrack with the different pieces used in the series. That would be a cardio playlist for me at the gym.

So old..! but I was always so impressed with how there was always that note of tragedy to these characters (and their music)
Takes me back.
In the beginning seasons They had some sound effects but?? Steve Austin didn't even have the bionic sound effect yet it was all music that did it and it worked... To this day? I find it utterly incredible!!!

40 year old ear worm scratch. THANKS!
Oliver Nelson Wrote the Theme music of the T V show
You can also see him running in slow motion as this plays!!!
Perfect!!!
SOLID!!!
If you like this side of Oliver Nelson, then do yourself a favor and pick up 'Skull Session' ... incredibly groovy and well written, ca. '75.

Will SMDM soundtrack or music ever be remastered and released? Wish list!!
