Sis, I am a church pastor, few months before I went to one pastors fellowship the guest speaker while he speaking he saw my French beard and said in front of all “thadi vachavanlaam kedi “, what to do? I was there till the end of the meeting. In India they won’t see the heart only appearance. ( white dress ,clean shave 😂)

Hello Sharon , I'm seeing you for the first time on screen right after your "Chinnan chiru deepam, nee yelumbi .." track.
Although there has been decades of gap between these 2 witnesses , I can understand how you've been impacted by your background and upbringing.
I can totally relate in my current circumstances that transpire iml. It's almost as if Plato's allegory of the cave in real life. Anyway , its relieving to see that some one from your climate can voice their views when they are truly intentioned with a courage and wisdom. Cheers and Amen.

Discrimination is the thing that I used to face everyday in my life. I started accepting discriminations on me. Because, It's there everywhere in India.

That's strange, how could you not cope? Why is the Lord not your guide? How did millions of people follow your preaching at that time? When I think about all these things, it makes me wonder what your followers will be like. (I meant, when you were preaching)
For those who see you and walk in faith, your change may have caused some to stumble. Most importantly the above two questions. You know better than us outsiders what kind of problems you have faced. Anyway, I hope that it is through Christ's guidance that you are freed from what you thought was your problem. Grace and Wisdom.
I want to tell everyone that the Bible is the only guide for those who read, meditate and follow the Bible. Because the Lord Jesus has said that I am the way, the truth and the life. We must preach to them to keep that faith in what they have read and encourage them to follow it.

What you preach to me today is what was preached to me 20 years ago. If someone told me, living out faith is much harder than said, it would have helped face life’s situations head on without the pressure of perfectionism.
My work now is not to enforce or tell anyone how to live their life but open conversations that allow thought, expression, freedom and courage so each one makes life’s tough decisions in their full self.
As for faith - If there is no space to grow, what is the point of a belief system?

Be that as it may, what you say is true, we need our own experiences or as you said our own space to be strong in faith(and that is perfect in faith), and that is what the Bible teaches. Everyone has different experiences. As 1 Peter 1:7 says, "These have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith-of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire-may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.
" I will not take anything beyond my strength nor will the Lord allow it.
But the problem with Christianity today is that it doesn't help to grow in that faith. Not completely, but many. For example, before the problems arise for an average Christian, he prays, Lord, you are not ashamed, so bless me and do not put me to shame in front of others. When the opposite happens, unbelief occurs. Why are prayers like this said in front of many people? Instead of teaching wisdom, God's strength, and the way to endure struggles or face them, it teaches us to go to holy places and pray from town to town saying that if we pray it will be alright. There is no encouragement to read the scriptures, they end their whole life with four or five verses of blessing. The knowledge of what we must do and how we must live to receive the benefits given in the Bible refuses to teach the early Christians.
Christianity fails to have the courage to say that God gives the gift of all-understanding wisdom. Psalm 32 says, I will teach you and show you the way you should walk, I will keep my eye on you and give you counsel. That's why I mentioned that verse in the last comment, Jesus said, I am the way, the truth and the life. We must stand in God's word and walk in that word.
It is the duty of every Christian to say it. Maybe your call is different, mine is different but Christianity is better if everything is based on the Word of God.
