By the way, I saw a star jumping on a note block during the Bowser Jr fight. I think that star was supposed to resemble a ringing bell. And the spinies make that HI/LO alarm. That was awesome! Edit: that star was jumping on a normal note block... it would have been awesome if it made the sound of a ringing bell.

For anyone revisiting this, I done a remake of this level in Super Mario Maker 2 with some adjustments due to some of the new limits, and also ON/OFF Switches so you don't have to wait for a timer to end. Ignoring the high heels, this is one of Eggman's mechs. Which can give me the idea of a Mario and Sonic crossover. Plot: As usual, Bowser kidnapped Peach, and the Mario Bros. head over to rescue her. On the way though, they notice that Bowser had some more, newer Mechatoys. The Mechatoys defeat and almost kill Mario and Luigi, but at the last moment, 2 hedgehogs (a blue one and a black one), a fox and a echidna appear end destroy the Mechatoys, who are revealed to belong to a new minion of Bowser: Dr. Eggman. The enemies of the Mechatoys introduced themselves as Sonic (the blue hedgehog), Shadow (the black hedgehog ), Tails (the fox) and Knuckles (the echidna ). The bros explain what they were doing and why the "Mechatoys" were attacking them. The Mario party and the Sonic party team up against Bowser and Eggman. Meanwhile, Metal Sonic, impressed by the beauty of the Kingdoms, starts wondering why Eggman wants to get rid of them. Eggman, who only liked to take over worlds, claims they are worthless, which enrages Metal, determining him to betray Eggman. After Mario and Sonic defeat many of Eggman's robots and Bowser's generals, meeting and teaming up with their friends, they stumble across Metal Sonic, who had his own adventure: he saw a young Koopa (Larry) having a hostage princess (nobody else than Peach). He understood the situation and attempted to convince the Koopa, his siblings (the other Koopalings and Bowser Jr ) and his father (Bowser) to release the princess, both nicely and by force (he defeated all of them), without success though. Mario then finds Peach, who was fine, and head back to the Mushroom kingdom for the victory party. Metal Sonic claims this should be a wedding party, and NOT any one, but a TRIPLE one. When Mario asks why, Metal says that the answer was onto Peach's chest: her brooch was the Matching Brooch P, the corresponding half of the Matching Brooch M, and the Star Spirits predicted Peach will marry one that will rescue her about 30 times. Wario wanted to cheat by stealing the brooch, but "one that wants to change the future for his own gains will not escape unpunished". When the others wanted to know about the other brooches, Metal reveals that the Matching Brooch L (Luigi's) was combining with the Matching Brooch D (Daisy's), and Bowser knew why he was attacking the Mushroom kingdom: having the Matching Brooch B, he was destined to rule the universe, along some beauty that was "out of this world". Then, with the truth revealed, the Broodals were hired by Metal Sonic to arrange this "triple wedding". Thus ending the rivalry between Mario and Bowser. It can't be said that "they lived happily ever after ", as Eggman was still alive, and Sonic said he was more than sure that Eggman will strike back. Metal Sonic says that, when Eggman will attack, they will be ready. That was a really cool level, but, you can only upload if you got a Wii U or Switch. For some weird reason they didn't allow you to upload in that version of the game, it's local streetpass only.
@@Pxiless I've never played play Super Mario Galaxy and never played it before but I would love to (I should've got it on the Wii U through Virtual Console but I don't have a Wii U anymore). Hopefully they re-release the games on Nintendo Switch without limited release time (btw 3D All Stars went down at the same time as SMM). I miss when you could use Mystery Mushrooms and stack pipes together to make one-way pipes. Edit: Super Mario Galaxy maybe wasn't on Virtual Console, but it worked very similar. Apparently they released Wii games digitally on the Nintendo eShop. I'm sure I remember the Wii category existing on the Virtual Console selection on the Nintendo eShop, but that is coming from sources that didn't list the Turbografx-16 on the list of consoles for the Wii U's Virtual Console. Edit 2: It turns out I was right. Wii games are on Virtual Console.

I come back to this and I gotta ask has anyone remade this in super Mario maker 2?
I like how the Goombas peak out the high heels every now and then.

@@Pxiless I've never played play Super Mario Galaxy and never played it before but I would love to (I should've got it on the Wii U through Virtual Console but I don't have a Wii U anymore). Hopefully they re-release the games on Nintendo Switch without limited release time (btw 3D All Stars went down at the same time as SMM). I miss when you could use Mystery Mushrooms and stack pipes together to make one-way pipes.
Edit: Super Mario Galaxy maybe wasn't on Virtual Console, but it worked very similar. Apparently they released Wii games digitally on the Nintendo eShop. I'm sure I remember the Wii category existing on the Virtual Console selection on the Nintendo eShop, but that is coming from sources that didn't list the Turbografx-16 on the list of consoles for the Wii U's Virtual Console.
Edit 2: It turns out I was right. Wii games are on Virtual Console.
