I used that idea to make regular bowzilla
With regular cannons and Bowser instead of Bowser jr
This shows the true potential of level design and this gets me so hyped for Mario maker 2 in less than two weeks now! Feels like two years though.
I'm excited to see what people do with the new on/off switches; they are apparently the most powerful addition in the sequel.

Honestly, seeing as Mecha-Bowzilla has shown up in TV commercials on multiple occasions, I wouldn't put it past the Big N to actually do it.. I mean, they REALLY seem to love this thing..

By the way, I saw a star jumping on a note block during the Bowser Jr fight. I think that star was supposed to resemble a ringing bell. And the spinies make that HI/LO alarm. That was awesome!
Edit: that star was jumping on a normal note block... it would have been awesome if it made the sound of a ringing bell.

I remember when this level first came out. Probably the best level in the game Imo.

Return of Mecha Bowzilla!
This is one of the most popular SMM levels
Ignoring the high heels, this is one of Eggman's mechs. Which can give me the idea of a Mario and Sonic crossover.
Plot: As usual, Bowser kidnapped Peach, and the Mario Bros. head over to rescue her. On the way though, they notice that Bowser had some more, newer Mechatoys. The Mechatoys defeat and almost kill Mario and Luigi, but at the last moment, 2 hedgehogs (a blue one and a black one), a fox and a echidna appear end destroy the Mechatoys, who are revealed to belong to a new minion of Bowser: Dr. Eggman. The enemies of the Mechatoys introduced themselves as Sonic (the blue hedgehog), Shadow (the black hedgehog ), Tails (the fox) and Knuckles (the echidna ). The bros explain what they were doing and why the "Mechatoys" were attacking them. The Mario party and the Sonic party team up against Bowser and Eggman.
Meanwhile, Metal Sonic, impressed by the beauty of the Kingdoms, starts wondering why Eggman wants to get rid of them. Eggman, who only liked to take over worlds, claims they are worthless, which enrages Metal, determining him to betray Eggman.
After Mario and Sonic defeat many of Eggman's robots and Bowser's generals, meeting and teaming up with their friends, they stumble across Metal Sonic, who had his own adventure: he saw a young Koopa (Larry) having a hostage princess (nobody else than Peach). He understood the situation and attempted to convince the Koopa, his siblings (the other Koopalings and Bowser Jr ) and his father (Bowser) to release the princess, both nicely and by force (he defeated all of them), without success though. After hearing this adventure of Metal, Sonic, impressed by how good his metal counterpart can be, explains Metal that, if he wants to be as good as him, he must be good and rescue the world repeatedly, just like a hero does. He doesn't says that, though, until he defeats Metal in a duel. Metal then gets a change of heart and joins Mario's party.
The gang reaches Bowser's castle, which got a weird facelift: Eggman's hand. Mario them defeats Bowser. Right when he was going to leave, though, Eggman comes and roboticizes Bowser. Bowser Jr and the Koopalings attempt to prevent it but fail. Metal Sonic claims he is no longer Eggman's minion, but a free hero. Eggman then shows his plan: he and Wario agreed that, if Wario helps Eggman to take over the world, the latter destroys Mario and Bowser, the latter having amnesia as Wario stole some brooches from Mario, Luigi AND Bowser. Metal Sonic reveals those were the Matching Brooches M, L and B, created by the Star Spirits before Bowser's birth, and which had the power to find one's perfect match, the wielder of the Matching Brooches P, D and respectively R. The gang, enraged by the theft, fights Eggman and the Wario Bros., defeated by Metal Sonic, who used every single technique he learned from the others. Metal Bowser, whose roboticizing process was complete, emerges to fight Mario at Eggman's command, but he is hijacked by Bowser Jr. and his Koopa Clown Car, turning him into Mecha Bowzilla. Mario and Sonic defeat Jr. and rescue Bowser, who admits defeat when he sees his brooch. Mario and Luigi get back their brooches too.
Eggman then claims that all this fight between Mario and Bowser for Peach's heart was all a decoy, as "a true winner always keeps his best for the last", and reveals the Dark Star, which transforms into Dark Bowser. Metal Sonic reveals that, during his adventure, he found the Chaos Emeralds, but Dark Bowser steals their energy, saying that he needed it in order to bring back a Shadow Queen. Unfortunately for Dark Bowser, everybody into the Mushroom kingdom was hoping that Mario and Sonic will rescue Peach and the world from Bowser and Eggman, creating the same energy the Chaos Emeralds use. Sonic, Metal Sonic and (surprisingly) Bowser Jr. use it to unleash their super forms and defeat Dark Bowser, rescuing Rosalina.
Mario then finds Peach, who was fine, and head back to the Mushroom kingdom for the victory party. Metal Sonic claims this should be a wedding party, and NOT any one, but a TRIPLE one. When Mario asks why, Metal says that the answer was onto Peach's chest: her brooch was the Matching Brooch P, the corresponding half of the Matching Brooch M, and the Star Spirits predicted Peach will marry one that will rescue her about 30 times. Wario wanted to cheat by stealing the brooch, but "one that wants to change the future for his own gains will not escape unpunished". When the others wanted to know about the other brooches, Metal reveals that the Matching Brooch L (Luigi's) was combining with the Matching Brooch D (Daisy's), and Bowser knew why he was attacking the Mushroom kingdom: having the Matching Brooch B, he was destined to rule the universe, along some beauty that was "out of this world". Because of Wario, he forgot that this expression was LITERALLY, and the beauty was Rosalina, the wielder of the Matching Brooch R AND Bowser Jr.'s birth mother.
Then, with the truth revealed, the Broodals were hired by Metal Sonic to arrange this "triple wedding". Thus ending the rivalry between Mario and Bowser.
It can't be said that "they lived happily ever after ", as Eggman was still alive, and Sonic said he was more than sure that Eggman will strike back. Metal Sonic says that, when Eggman will attack, they will be ready.

Don't you know that doctor Robotinik underwent a terrible mutation following one of his experiements which left him horribly disfigured (having a giant nose with a spike jutting out and 6 legs). He had to retreat to the sewers were he began to educate other individuals sharing similar luck. Nowadays you can find him teaching monsters how to scare while sporting 3 pairs of stylish red high heels!

I just played this level the other night. It was really cool though the first part was annoying with how many times I died near the pipe that was blocked by the P-Switch.
It's kinda a wild goose chase. but one of the best levels in the game.

Place an enemy, put thing you want centered on the enemy (which has to be different size thing the centered thing), replace the first enemy with a phodoboo than erase it

@@Pxiless I've never played play Super Mario Galaxy and never played it before but I would love to (I should've got it on the Wii U through Virtual Console but I don't have a Wii U anymore). Hopefully they re-release the games on Nintendo Switch without limited release time (btw 3D All Stars went down at the same time as SMM). I miss when you could use Mystery Mushrooms and stack pipes together to make one-way pipes.
Edit: Super Mario Galaxy maybe wasn't on Virtual Console, but it worked very similar. Apparently they released Wii games digitally on the Nintendo eShop. I'm sure I remember the Wii category existing on the Virtual Console selection on the Nintendo eShop, but that is coming from sources that didn't list the Turbografx-16 on the list of consoles for the Wii U's Virtual Console.
Edit 2: It turns out I was right. Wii games are on Virtual Console.
