The Wizard is faster. You can really hear the quick dryness on the chugs for riff 3, in comparison to the Bogner. But is one sound better than the other? Not sure! There are times when I crave the fuzzy mids of a boosted Orange Rockerverb for metal. Great saturation there, which I don't think a Wizard can get close to.
Definitely agree with you there. These amps have subtle differences, just depends on what you're looking for at that point in time. It's not a simple 'Wizard is always better in every situation' scenario
Uber is definitely cheaper! Although the older ones before Rev Blue are pretty pricey these days. The MTL is a killer amp but it's not 'double as good' as many other amps even though it's double in price. Really is personal preference. Thanks for checking it out!
@@TheGrahamman84 Huge! nice find! Congrats :) I've heard the 2 rev greens (original and 'green') are rather similar but I've only played the first version. Congrats again and enjoy!
Love your heavy/melodic playing! If I were plugging in as of right now, it would be the Uberschall. I have owned both a Rev Green and a Rev Blue, so I know exactly what I am getting in regards to dialing them how I like. Plus they feel great under the fingers like all Bogners I have owned. That of course may change if I actually ever get to try a Wizard....
@@SluggerStark Thank you mate! appreciate you checking it out! The uber is incredibly fun to play. I've had to work with the Wizard a lot to find the tone I'm looking for. The Uber was much more instant gratification
@@guitartonetopia Uber sounds great and is a cheaper. The new version of the Uber Ultra is also expensive but seems like it's another step above the original.
Both sound great and similar enough I'd be happy with either.
Agree there's not a massive difference. I might do an A/B test to see how they sound with 1 amp either side together

Wizard is more crisp and reactive, bogner hot awesome low mids!!! I would play them in stereo, get best of both worlds. Also what is riff three from?
Agree with all this 👍. The riffs are just my own noodling for the purpose of this demo.. none of these are a final song yet
@@guitartonetopiawell that riff is brutal and I love it!! Make a song from it please 🙏
@@gavinstorkey675 Thanks very much for the kind words! Ok I'll have to keep progressing it now you've motivated me :) Thank you
Riff 4 (sweet by the way) I went back and forth. Wizard for me.
Thanks for checking it out Paul!
Me too.
Wow, Uber all day. Especially for the $

Really Gassing between a Diezel VH4 and the New Bogner Uberschall Mk2 now!
@@SuperCMO79 From what I've heard if you can afford it the Uberschall Mk2 is probably the way to go.
