    Only recommendation I have for you is to put a tarp down so the strawberry can grow on top of so they won't spoil so easy if you understand what I mean

    • @tracy-anncodling3854
      @tracy-anncodling3854 2 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Thanks for the recommendation but we have plastic shortages in Jamaica now so it kinda hard to get it plastic. We use farming plastic instead of the tarp , because the tarp rooten easily and would be more costly.

    • @musicacrossages8471
      @musicacrossages8471 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Plastic pollutes, goes into soil, food, water, animals and human bodies as micro plastics that are extremely difficult to remove and as toxic chemicals as plastics break down. Can we share knowledge, research and explore to find a better way? Because plastics are slowly killing humans and the planet.

    Congratulation on your new channel A Little A Everything Jamaican. Mr: Coddling is very good at explaining everything pertaining to his farming. He is educating the viewers on different areas of his farming which is very good. All vegetables, and fruit trees has seeds, strawberry seeds are on the outside of the fruit. The lovely Rock Spring that is in the background you should have,highlighted it. It seems like a nice picnic spot. It is very nice that this farmer is getting some exposer,and l hope he gets the help, he needs to establish his farm more. Keep Up The Good Work. Blessings.

    Even though California grows about 90 % of Strawberries in the US , Oregon , North Carolina and Washington grows a lot .. It’s not usually that Strawberry would be able to grow in Jamaica due to the fact California as a tropical weather.. I believe RADA the government agency in Jamaica would have tested the soil and make recommendation what would be best planted in certain areas.Also I believe RADA test soil for farmers on request . Wasn’t able to watch video in it’s entirety but I found it very informative and the Ras is very knowledgeable ..There is definitely a huge market for Strawberries in Jamaica, Sandals supporting this Farmers proves that..
