It's a teaser. Rather than a regular preview. Of course it ain't going to show much. People forget that reboots or remakes are meant to appeal to a newer younger audience. Hopefully the movie itself brings back the franchise.
Okay.. I'm a bit worried about the director now too. They've done some horrendous previous works. kill Her Goats.. and MUDD something. Those movies were good awful. There seems to be legal issues. These guys have rights to do a sequel.. but the actress from the original is part of a production that was just shut down from making a Sequel called TRASH'S REVENGE..they have to go under the title of Fan Film and the actress is trashing the previous works by these people.
I can understand the hesitation but I am willing to give any film or tv series a chance to win me over. Now I know you like Rec and V/H/S, LOL, you can I could go back and forth all day on those... I just don't care for them. IMO, this trailer is great and if they can give me a film like this I will be happy.
@@ReignOfHorror The trailer does look great. Cinematography has never been a problem with this filmmaker. Watch MUCK and Kill HER GOATS... these are seriously dismal attempts at filmmaking.

I thought the trailer was terrible. It captures none of the spirit that made the original so great. It was also boring. I want to see this movie, but the trailer has me wondering if itll be any good
I can see your point... with it just being a teaser trailer I wasn't expecting too much, so hopefully the full trailer release will give us more into what we can expect.

Absolutely agree! I tried expressing this a bit in regards to the Dexter: Original Sin series that just started.

That would be a great twist to the story... good call.
Then why would he be dragging a Christmas tree??
The camera could of pulled back to reveal a destroyed landscape covered in fallout/snow.
