Have you ever thought about a Beatles tune like Norwegian Wood or Ticket to ride? I think the banjo would sound great on that and throw in some dobro too! Give it some thought!
@oldcoldcrank Gee you'd think with all that work they'd end up with a better video? Sorry, I was disappointed in this video it wasn't up to their usual standards.
I think Johnny would be polite and not mention the problems. I can't imagine him tapping his foot to this. I was disappointed with this compared to some of their other videos.
Hey y’all! Big shoutout to the crew from the Carpathian Basin, Hungary-home of some wild inventions like the neutron bomb, Vitamin C, and matches that don’t blow up! Oh, and yeah, George Soros was born here too (don’t @ me, lol). I could go on and on… Y’all are filling a huge gap with your music, but most of all, the vibe and sound you bring are 🔥. So glad you’re here-keep doing your thing! 🤘
I was trying to find some old blue grass and you folks popped up and saw your from indiana also! love to see old music like this still being made! earned my sub
Another awesome rendition of a classic. Mr. Cash and them would be very proud of you. Outstanding vocals and solo work with the banjo, as well as the six string (I think he has eight strings on that thing.)❤️
I have to admit that having Sarah do this particular song did not impress me very much. A soprano (albeit a beautiful voice) attempting to do a cover of one of the greatest baritone singers who ever lived seemed futile. Sarah avoided the low notes that Johnny Cash could hit with ease. Also a “slap bass” technique (which was originally used) could have made the song much more authentic. Also the original Luther Perkins guitar break can never be equaled so why not go ahead and play it. Don’t get me wrong--I am one of your biggest fans. This is, in fact, the only time where I think you missed the mark.
I understand your point and wondered why they decided for Sarah to sing it when it such a masculine song. But after listening to it a few times i realized they were going for a different arrangement of a well-known song. And because they're such a great, tight band, it worked and worked well. I could never understand when peopke covered a Beatles tune they tried to sound like the record. What's the point? I'll listen to John and Paul.
Fair enough, Rudolph. I will listen to the Backwoods treatment of the song several more times from that viewpoint and see if it changes my mind. It’s just that I cannot listen to Folsom Prison Blues without being forever reminded of JC’s rugged voice. There are several Johnny Cash songs that would be appropriate for Sarah to sing. I’ll bet she could make “I Still Miss Someone” an absolute killer rendition.
@@aceofspades1658 Cogent points. Forgot to mention, when we saw the tune how many of us thought Austin was gonna sing it? 100% of us. They threw us a change-up.
I love this music and you've got a beautiful voice, but i prefer to listen to this theme with a male voice, hope you don't mind my criticism, anyways, there's must be always room for some originality!
It seems like I have to wait a really long time for you guys to post anything and when you do I expect it to be better than this. It sounds like you have a sore throat and you didn't do any fancy pickin on that banjo.
So you complain about having to wait, and then you complain about what you were waiting for! Here's an idea - unsubscribe, quit waiting, and quit being disappointed. Leave the rest of us to appreciate one of the best bluegrass bands there is. And that includes Sarah's playing, which is sometimes fancy, sometimes simple, but always tasteful. Unlike you.
@@trythis2821 I've been listening to this song since 1968 It was a HUGE album for Johnny Cash. I love that album and I like the song I just don't like this version. It's weak. They didn't put their heart into it like they do on other songs. They don't even look happy to be performing. It's OK we all have bad days.
@@lennybuttz2162sorry you’re not enjoying this one. Just wanted to share that if we didn’t have our heart in the song we wouldn’t take the time to produce it and post it. Each song takes around 15 hours or more for recording, mixing, mastering, video production, and editing, not including the time we take to learn the song. It’s quite a lot of work to put videos of this quality out there for everyone to enjoy. If our heart wasn’t in it we wouldn’t put in this kind of work. Thanks for checking us out and hope you enjoy some of our other videos
Not only sing , plays banjo , plays guitar , plays mandolin , plays fiddle , is a sound engineer , has debuted on The Grand Old Opry Stage with Rhonda Vincent . Yep , one talented little girl for sure .
I promise you it’s more than Real . They drag me over the coals making sure That the timing , arrangement of the song is right for us , the harmony , implementing high notes & low notes , starts , Endings , ect. for every song . Sarah sounds wonderful! I enjoyed getting to hear her lead. You guys are an inspiration. Thanks!
It's that hick banjo just twanging out the harmony that makes this version so backwoods, man. It's that banjo
This is my go to bluegrass band, since I am in my late 70's I feel that I can say this, "Excellent playing Kids".
I like them but they play some crazy music I never heard of and they only release a new song every 2 or 3 months.

Don’t listen to the negative stuff. This was great!!!
Johnny Cash is tapping his foot Excellent sound
Sarah does a great job with the sound mixing and production (of course, picking too!). Super group and like the songs they pick.
Her Banjo playing is kick ass!
Wow! Awesome! Just LOVE the female voice singing the lead on this iconic Country/Rockabilly hit. Freaking AWESOME!
wonderful voice and rendition!
I can’t get enough of this talented group
Sarah!!!!! Awesome as usual!! Love it❤❤
I know it's kind of a slanted view but if this group had the same members but replaced Sarah, the group just would not be the same.
I LOVE all your Music super Talent clean and clear sound everyone of you make me happy kept it up Thank You.
