I didnt dislike , But if you hear the Das sir version and this u feel different like this is a whole new song. The other one is the same but the kriti entirly depicts bhakti....This is kind of a romantic feel. may be thats the reason. I also have the opinion having understand the bhava of teh song and sing. That what i learned from Gurus...Even from the legend himself.

With respect i would have to say that this song has been played in loop for the past few days.. I have stopped learning and digging into carnatic music long back however this song has pushed me back to inspire and learn the carnatic music again. I am from North India Haryana call me Desi haryanvi but discovering music that's of bhakti from south based on ragas and crantic classical music. Just one word it touches my soul though i don't understand a word
Bhakti moment is started from south sir by alvars (bhakt saint of Narayana/visnu) and nayanars(bhakt saints of shiva)..
I also feel Carnatic better even though I dont know classical music.
