This way, there's no last minute rush to the store. I shop throughout the year for gifts. If I see something on sale, or even if it's something I know someone will love, I buy it there and then! I do the same with school supplies. All the little essentials are in a tub. The kids can easily go to the cupboard and take what they need. I hope this helps.
