I listen to blink daily and have for over 20 years but this is a song you have to seek out. it will not show up on top 10's or spotify.. its an "eyes closed" kinda song.

For me this isn’t a breakup song... I leaned heavily on this song when my family broke apart 15 years ago. All the songs and movies and restaurants we’d go to and love as a family, now gone and void of meaning. I am now a drummer and a guitarist for about 2 decades as well and music is so much of my life. But most importantly I am the father of the most incredible little boy in the world. And his mother has put me through hell for his entire life 6 years. This month I'm giving up My entire life that I have Built-in my own town of 32 years selling my house and moving to East Tennessee so my son we'll have to be there when he starts kindergarten. There are so many uncertainties and I'm kicking out fiercely at the world around me But I will take my faith with me in all of the tunes and a couple of nice guitars and I will build another life one stick n stone at a time.
She wants to do everything to keep our child away from me but I get Can half of the time in our court order if I just move there. I am going to do it before she can try to tank it away wish me luck

Tom always was universal with his music! I feel he was the gem in the group, his song writing and skills were great! I feel his greatest work was What Went Wrong, I Feel So, Watch the World, Letters to God and There Is. No disrespect to Mark, but I feel the leader was Mark but Tom was the heart of the group.
I know these didn't make it on the album...but imagine if they never even released it? This song genuinely helped me get through high school, it's hard to imagine a world where this doesn't exist.
I'm trying to remember what version of the 3 my physical copy I got at launch. I think it was the one with time to break up, which has a slight edge over this track for the best one imo. The drum fill during the last chorus of time to break up is so fucking good. Blew my 14 year old mind, when it came out, and I was already a travis Stan to begin with. With all that said, I've never been one to own 3 of basically the same album, what with file sharing being a thing. Spent plenty of my parents money on their other stuff to compensate, this I know.

14 year old kid in 2001. Obsessed with this band, since early enema.
Obsessively learn to play the drums, because of nearly equal parts barker and jordison. Also, there was genuinely little else to do, In a town with 880 people, if I wasn't riding a BMX or dirt bike, or playing football. The latter mostly because my dad expected me to do so. I still play the drums to this day, 20+ years later
They follow it up with their amazing "live" album. I know now that they did post production, but it doesn't change at all what it means to me.
Then they drop this album. I can remember, staring out my bedroom window, my eyes trained on the road from when my mom came home from work with it for me to listen to. I think it was like a month or so later, my mom takes me and her BFF and my BFF to go see them on the tour supporting toypaj. Just magical times. Feel blessed to be there for it, tbh. Few bands have made me feel that way before or since.
