To be fair, my firefighter dad and uncle are the same way. My uncle is married to my dad’s sister and they served together on the same fire department, but you would think they were the married couple. 😂

Not to forget that both actors would be fine with Buddie becoming canon. Idk why ya'll want to lable them as brothers just because you don't like the idea of them not being hetero. In my head, this is the order of characters knowing these bitches gay: Bobby, because of course -> Maddie, shipper #1 -> Carla, because she's an actual angel -> Hen and Chimney joked about it once and put it aside but then it became way too obvious to ignore. And then everyone else *except* Buck and Eddie.
And then Buck doesn't know til the end of S5 (when he's talking to Maddie about his idea of love, that it's when you're both at your worst and you still try again, and there's only one person that applies to in his life) And Eddie doesn't know til Buck dies. ("Things like that, they change US" not you, us.)

I also think she helped out a bit in the first episode of season 3 when Buck lost his job and Eddie brought Christopher to Buck. When Christopher answered where Carla was, Eddie's answer was: Mm-hmm. A bit suspicious and I think that Carla knows both of them enough to do this.
And that Buck's s7 storyline was technically supposed to happen with Eddie, but they could get the actress who played Marisol back so they switched it. Call me crazy, but I feel like it's only a matter if time before they go canon 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
