It's overrated and consumerist. Just remember that expiration dates are not mandated for any products, not even food. And how convenient that everything seems to expire in exactly a year or 1.5 years. There's a difference between expiring and not being as fresh or working as well. Your "expired" products still have some life in them. Case in point: who the finishes a full-size mascara in 3 months? Do you really think your mascara is bad after 3 months?
@@stealthis I'm concerned with the ingredients going rancid or growing bacteria/mold. At the end of the day, many of the products we use are concoctions of oils and sugars. You're right that some of those expiration dates are guidelines, but some of those content admit to having their hoard for x amount of YEARS, then it's quite obvious that those products are expired.
@@stealthismascaras last longer than 3 months, and by a year you're already ready for a new one. Pls don't advice people to use expired make up, it can give ugly infections. It's better to just not buy more than you can use

I just got back from Korea! I wished I’ve seen this video before! I was so overwhelmed!! There’s so much to choose from, that I ended up choosing nothing lol
You also need to try foundation shades at olive young! Because even if you can buy the rest online it’s nearly impossible to find the right shade of foundation online
Wish I stumbled on your videos before I visited Korea!! Was there in Olive young Myeongdong and literally, I wasn’t able to buy anything cause I was overwhelmed. Haha
if anyone lives near nyc, korea way has a bunch of products and the stores i recommend are kosette beauty, the face shop, and also the back of hmart. i’m pretty sure there was a lot more but literally just walk down the stretch of west 32nd street that’s between 5th ave and broadway and you’ll find a bunch of kbeauty stores
I’m not sure exactly what the standards are in Korea, but in the US quite a bit of cosmetics don’t have strict or even safe FDA guidelines. Even when compared to our food standards which aren’t great, our FDA cares even less about what goes on your body than in it. So if I had to guess that’s probably why K beauty products work and feel so high quality. Because they’re held to higher standards & regulations :)
Of course Korean cosmetics & beauty products are cheaper in Korea (but clothes are more expensive even they are not name brands). Just like Fendi is cheaper in Italy & LV is cheaper in France.
I was just in Korea a few months ago and bought a LOT of skincare and some makeup (including lots of gifts for friends and family) and not a single lip tint 😅 it’s not something I would think the wear!
We went to Korea last April and hauled bunch of stuff from Olive Young. Now we run out of skincare products from olive young and planning a next Korean trip 😂
I use Shiseido Tsubaki Hair Products and it works so well, except I need advice on how to tell my parents and two younger siblings to stop "sharing" my toiletries.
Went to Korea last May and made a mistake of buying more than I can use 😂 Some of them on my wish list for years and I should have known there was a reason why I was hesitate.
My dream is to live in Korea when I’m older. I’m still a minor and my parents are too busy with their business to travel out of the country. I have a whole life plan when I turn 18-20.
Please do not listen to her about hair treatments. She doesn’t understand that Asian hair care is formulated for Asian hair. This means that it can have negative affects on other hair types and it’s best to sample them before you buy them because it’s not cheap. You can literally suffer from hair loss and irritation from these products if it’s not made for your hair, it’s better to buy foreign brands if you’re in doubt. Also don’t bother with these if your hair has texture (3 and 4 girls I’m looking at you) because they don’t do nearly as much as hair products made for textured hair and don’t penetrate as well
Wouldn’t work for a lot of ppl cause when getting on a plane, they require u to only have a certain weight of liquid products, and all others have to be thrown out or emptied before boarding😢
The Clio Kill Black Penliner used to be a holy grail for me, but then they changed the formula. It’s no longer long lasting and it flakes off. I’m still in search of a replacement eyeliner, so if anyone has any recommendations, I’d greatly appreciate them 😊
Personally, I would like to recommend that eyeshadow is famous for Clio, and the cost effective and high quality brand is Peripera. It's aimed at 10s, so the price is good and the quality is good😻 Lilybyred is good(affordable), but it little has powder flying, so Rom&nd is good for tint and blush(eyeshadow😔), and Dasique is not good for money. It's too expensive..
something to NOT buy in korea: BLUSH most blushes in olive young are sooo underpigmented, has a whiteish-grayish hue to it and gives absolutely ✨nothing theyre all basically made for light toned ppl(or people who wear those foundations to meet the “standards”) and as a korean girl whose skin shifts more toward the dark side, I would prefer using lip products as blush instead😅
Oooo super cool thanks for telling us ❤❤❤❤. 3rd btw pin plz?

True 😂
You can’t do that tho they expire 🥲
@@hobistinyheartbagshe's kidding 😂
It’ll expire… specially toners, they don’t last longer than a year bc it’s mainly water
I went to Korea this summer and I regret not buying enough skincare😢😢 I already ran out😂😢
SKINCARE EXPIRES. THANK YOU FOR SAYING THAT. so tired of beauty content creators with their hoards of expired cosmetics

please recommend specific products! I'm going to get so overwhelmed on what to get when I go to Korea!
When I went to korea, I got lip tints, gloss, nail polish, and skincare. As well as the holika holkia mascara. I love olive young.
I love gel stickers! they work so well ✨️
So basically go to olive young and buy everything. 👍
I guess so😂
The KBOOTY ALLWAYS GETS ME 😂
Also be cognizant of airplane rules so you check your bag with all the liquids and skincare stuffs.
Can you post a list of your favorite items that we can buy outside of Korea please?! I love your videos so much!!! 💗
Me forgetting everything the moment I saw Kazuha ❤❤. Love you girl 💙💙
The first lip gloss you picked up is absolutely amazing
Dunt know how to impress on her vibe but for me she is kinda incredible 😂, voices, face, and the way she works 🎉

I literally kept on going back to when i saw bibi next to those lip products 💗
This is why I *try* to avoid beauty shops in Korea - I always get obsessed and emptying my wallet 😢
Omg that one model looked like star jin! In eyeliner section
Exactly girl! Korean lip products are the best every lip trend i see nowadays it's better with k liptints
You also need to try foundation shades at olive young! Because even if you can buy the rest online it’s nearly impossible to find the right shade of foundation online
So real with the lip tints. Can rarely ever find them in-person in America.

I've been living in Japan the past 4 years.
Absolutely need to visit S. Korea soon!
What are the prices compared to websites like yesstyle or jolse?
You convinced me to get the honey serum from skinfood and I’ve just got my 3rd bottle 😌 my acne prone skin is thankful ma’am 💜
Would love if you make a video on haul

tsubaki's shampoos and conditioners are nice, they smell good too.

Are these products cheaper in korea than in countries like UK and USA?
soo much cheaper and better than the products in the US
Will that be fine with the airlines? I heard you can only bring a limited amount of liquids.
What brand is the sunscreen in the green tube??
Noted. Now I need the money first.
Can I ask what your skin type is?

I mean korean skin care is recognized but this does not improve mine at all so far.
I wont even try the hair product as a black person
What can you recommend for akne scars
U sound a lot like Rae Dizzle
Not me forgetting that The cash register is Korean and not american lol😂❤
Don't buy eyeshadow cause the colour is too soft. Base like foundy, Bb, concealer not good too cayse they too light for some poeple
okay but how do you find the “perfect” skin care for you skin type? i’m combi so feel free to drop some k-beauty skin care products in the comments
About hair. I have curly hair so I doubt i will find good products for that.
SHUHUA

Everything but fruits 🗿👍
Lip tints are the BEST
My teacher name Olivia young
I don’t trust skincare that I can’t understand 😂
