Slow Living in France: A Self-Care Day in French (English subtitles) 🌷

Someone once said that to live a simple life is to live a beautiful life. This is something that I have learned myself since moving to Paris over six years ago and adapting the slow lifestyle of the French. Sometimes the most sacred things are those that cost hardly nothing at all: a cup of coffee while listening to the rain tap against your window sill, looking at paintings from a book, a bouquet of yellow flowers...sometimes it's losing track of time in front of your piano, or a warm healing meal and a good book to cozy up with. Sometimes it's just stillness. This is what I want to share with you in today's video, because you are my little online family and I love you. We all deserve a little calm and self care.
I decided to make this vlog in only French because as I explain in the video, I have been speaking less of it ever since I started living alone. This is another part of my transition in starting over and so I am trying to start rituals that will help keep me bilingual? To me, French is the most beautiful language in the world and I feel really grateful to know it and speak it. This part of my life is also something I want to share with you here. I had an all French day where I listened to French podcasts, read in French and of course spoke only French (with subtitles for you).
