I thought for sure the amount of skills would decrease. @@jeremiahjohns5258 Nope, in volume 16 of the light novel (which you can find here th-cam.com/video/pw2ZwO9Kkuo/w-d-xo.html for rimuru's abilities it's around 6:27:00 I think) Raphael, beelzebub, and the two dragon abilities get wrapped up into void god azatoth, with Uriel and I think a few other abilities from Raphael get optimized into harvest king shub-niggurath. The skills all got mixed up a bit so I think some of Uriel is also in void god azatoth as the absolute defense skills, and Raphael along with other skills like thought acceleration and parallel processing got implemented into Ciel. I think it does change some later but he does go from 4 ultimates to 5 shortly, down to two plus manas ciel

Rimmuru's final ultimate skills is the final realization of his combat style. Every battle he has goes this way find the enemies strengths and weaknesses either through intelligence gathering or probing attacks. Identify the key factors necessary for victory. His first battle against the direwolves went like that create traps and defensive barrier to draw out their strength and identify the biggest threat. Neutralize that threat and consume it to pacify the pack then name his new subordinates to make them more useful. Ceil is the ultimate computational asset and can break down and analysis almost anything almost instantly, Azatoth can protect Rimmuru until a final strike can be made either by consumption or nihilty collapse, Sub-Niggatath can empower his subordinates.
They need to amend the Ultimate Skill's that were amalgamation of Ultimate Skills. Something like a Composite Ultimate Skills as these Ultimate Skills are just so beyond the normal Ultimate Skills.
Can you explain more about the character that is Ciel? I know you are covering it in this video, but what I meant was the role she has with everybody, or at most, the many times she was mentioned. Since I am a manga reader that heavily relies on english translations, I haven't even seen much of content after where the anime ended yet.
So basically (if I’m remembering this right) before the big fight against the eastern empire, Rimuru is bolstering his power and he is like “what would happen if I named Raphael?” So he named the ciel and they evolved. The only people who know about ciel are veldora, velgrynd, benimaru, zeigon, tanga gobuta and Diablo as they all share a soul connection with rimuru. Ciel still workshops some of rimurus subordinates skills, but they do not know of the existence of Ciel. The main difference from Raphael is that she’s smarter and has emotions. I’ve read both the wn and ln so I might have confused some details between the two but I’m pretty sure that’s the gist of things. They’ve also appointed rimuru as their husband so yea but rimuru and ciel have a good relationship.

I do not recall Rimuru revealing her to anyone other than Veldora tbh. Although I think Diablo and Benimaru have an idea of Ciels existence & the others who were given gifts by Ciel are under the assumption that they were talking to Rimuru. (Could be wrong but that is what my memory is telling me) :)

my favorite part about allowing access for skill gifting is that someone was abusing the power transfer that was borrowing power from rimuru via soul corridor, so ciel revoked their access and told them to fk off. was funny.
From how i interpreted the raw LN, I'm pretty sure Void God's time and space skill is called spacetime domination, not spacetime manipulation, because his time and space skill is different from his subordinates, Zegion included, pretty sure it's just the translation error, if not it would be wierd as to how he adapted to the suspended world in vol.19 whilst fighting Micheal just by using a 'spacetime manipulation' it would be like nerfing his time and space skill and having most of the readers interpret this as a 'manipulation' not 'domination' and would only see it as a plot armour made by the Author

1) rimuru was never “just a slime” A normal slime or human would’ve been obliterated as soon as they got close to Veldora. 2) you can’t give some thing a name unless you are an equal or greater existence to them… yet rimuru gives veldora a last name yet doesn’t feel a huge difference when Veldora named him. 3) ever notice quite a few things attributed to have the prefix “Star” ? …. As early as the creation of Ranga as a tempest “Star” wolf…. Which is a completely new variety of dire wolf evolution never seen before. Also remember his new body type after becoming a “true dragon” has a very specific “Star” label. 4) his evolution doesn’t stop here and continues even further in volume 19 but I will not spoil that here… and he still not quite done yet even after the end of that volume. 5) based upon many observations by Velgrynd and a couple others there is strong evidence to suggest that this is not Rimuru’s 1st reincarnation… It may not even be an actual Isekai but a return.

though the LN and WN diverge in many aspects the basic functionality of the skill system remains and considering how much more they're emphasizing the strength of MPE(the Velgrynd fight for one) I'd Imagine Rimmuru would get it too.

I think, rimuru surpassed the Diablo when he got the ciel and evolved to a true dragon (Vol 15) and obtained the void God azathoth and sub niggurath (vol 16). According to the conversation between guy and Diablo in volume 11, true dragon are stronger than primordial. So, rimuru surpassed Diablo by defeating velgrynd and veldora (vol 15) which are true dragon.

Shield Hero at least in the web novel could probably match Rimuru, basically because he would be a hard counter to Rimiru assuming he wasn't in his own universe, although in raw strength yeh Rimiru f***ing destroys shield boy, even end game god killer shield boy, but as I said he is a hard counter in any other world than Earth and maybe considering that he was reborn in the world of RaaS maybe he wouldn't be a hard counter there, but I think it's to do with the soul so even in the RaaS world he could probably hard counter him 1v1, but if any of the executives went up against shield boy he would get un-alived. The skills all got mixed up a bit so I think some of Uriel is also in void god azatoth as the absolute defense skills, and Raphael along with other skills like thought acceleration and parallel processing got implemented into Ciel. I think it does change some later but he does go from 4 ultimates to 5 shortly, down to two plus manas ciel

Can you explain more about the character that is Ciel? I know you are covering it in this video, but what I meant was the role she has with everybody, or at most, the many times she was mentioned.
Since I am a manga reader that heavily relies on english translations, I haven't even seen much of content after where the anime ended yet.
So basically (if I’m remembering this right) before the big fight against the eastern empire, Rimuru is bolstering his power and he is like “what would happen if I named Raphael?” So he named the ciel and they evolved. The only people who know about ciel are veldora, velgrynd, benimaru, zeigon, tanga gobuta and Diablo as they all share a soul connection with rimuru. Ciel still workshops some of rimurus subordinates skills, but they do not know of the existence of Ciel. The main difference from Raphael is that she’s smarter and has emotions. I’ve read both the wn and ln so I might have confused some details between the two but I’m pretty sure that’s the gist of things. They’ve also appointed rimuru as their husband so yea but rimuru and ciel have a good relationship.

I do not recall Rimuru revealing her to anyone other than Veldora tbh. Although I think Diablo and Benimaru have an idea of Ciels existence & the others who were given gifts by Ciel are under the assumption that they were talking to Rimuru. (Could be wrong but that is what my memory is telling me) :)

From how i interpreted the raw LN, I'm pretty sure Void God's time and space skill is called spacetime domination, not spacetime manipulation, because his time and space skill is different from his subordinates, Zegion included, pretty sure it's just the translation error, if not it would be wierd as to how he adapted to the suspended world in vol.19 whilst fighting Micheal just by using a 'spacetime manipulation' it would be like nerfing his time and space skill and having most of the readers interpret this as a 'manipulation' not 'domination' and would only see it as a plot armour made by the Author

As early as the creation of Ranga as a tempest “Star” wolf…. Which is a completely new variety of dire wolf evolution never seen before. Also remember his new body type after becoming a “true dragon” has a very specific “Star” label. 4) his evolution doesn’t stop here and continues even further in volume 19 but I will not spoil that here… and he still not quite done yet even after the end of that volume. 5) based upon many observations by Velgrynd and a couple others there is strong evidence to suggest that this is not Rimuru’s 1st reincarnation… It may not even be an actual Isekai but a return.

I think, rimuru surpassed the Diablo when he got the ciel and evolved to a true dragon (Vol 15) and obtained the void God azathoth and sub niggurath (vol 16). According to the conversation between guy and Diablo in volume 11, true dragon are stronger than primordial. So, rimuru surpassed Diablo by defeating velgrynd and veldora (vol 15) which are true dragon.

Shield Hero at least in the web novel could probably match Rimuru, basically because he would be a hard counter to Rimiru assuming he wasn't in his own universe, although in raw strength yeh Rimiru f***ing destroys shield boy, even end game god killer shield boy, but as I said he is a hard counter in any other world than Earth and maybe considering that he was reborn in the world of RaaS maybe he wouldn't be a hard counter there, but I think it's to do with the soul so even in the RaaS world he could probably hard counter him 1v1, but if any of the executives went up against shield boy he would get un-alived. On Earth though Rimiru would be able to beat the shield hero with his little finger.
