This Resident Evil: Extinction committee meeting was one of the best scenes in the movie. And the guy who played Chairman Wesker in this movie was AWESOME. I wish they would've kept him on for the subsequent movies after Resident Evil: Extinction.

hmm i dunno. to me shawn roberts brings the snake like personality of wesker to life a little more than o'mara. but i think wesker's role should've gone to an actor older than roberts. o'mara for instance has 10 years on roberts and looks more like wesker's age without looking TOO old. also, to be shallow for a minute, can't get past the obviously bleached hair in this movie, while the newer movies allow his appearance to seem more natural.

If they had the equipment to reverse the Virus why not just tell alice that they can make a cure? I mean, her trying to destroy umbrella is counterproductive. Sure, they did stuff to her but if all they need is a little bit of blood, surely teaming up with them would be a better idea

Most likely, the plot was changed for convenience. To have a reason for getting Iain Glen back in the spotlight perhaps. But I think it's forgiveable since THIS Isaacs is supposed to be just a clone.
