I think that a lot of Riven's try to force on a Renekton early because no matter how late the game goes, he can always spin the game around in his favor. He can always deny her Shield, stop her engages and he can shred her armor with Slic(E) and Dice making it impossible for her to dive. After 6-13 he cannot lose, unless he just tries to ape the game.
