You may not like Nick Wright, or Colin, or Bron. But Nick Wright speaks facts. You may not agree on his opinions but he always has facts facts facts to support his stance. Not like some other "analysts".
True, but he is very biased and selectively chooses facts that support his point while ignoring the ones that don't. I.e. "Jordan lost in the first round 3x". He uses that fact to imply Jordan was overrated. "He played a 59-win Bucks team his rookie year, and went up twice against Bird's Celtics with 4 hall of famers". That's also a fact that shows you it was nearly impossible to win those series, but one that Nick neglects. Same logic: "Lebron has four finals losses". That's a fact that Lebron critics love to use. "Went up against a 58-win Spurs team as a 22-year old, lost his 2nd and 3rd best player to injury in 2015 against a 67-win team." Also a fact that adds a lot of context, which Nick would have zero hesitation using. The problem is, why is Nick adding context when it comes to Lebron, but not when it comes to Jordan? It's the same scenario- two legends facing insurmountable odds, but Nick uses it to criticize Jordan whereas he defends Lebron. That's the very definition of BIAS. This is why Chris Broussard is the best basketball analyst that Fox has. He's not like Skip, and he's not like Nick. He will defend both players, as he should, and be as objective as possible.
i like your points but Nick says all the time "right now Jordan is the GOAT". Of course the main point being "right now" in his opinion it could change with time. I just hate the many many people are blind to the fact Jordan has failures. They say 6-0, GOAT. That is false, 6-0 would be playing 6 years and winning 6 titles. Jordan lost games, missed shots, lost play off series, missed game winners, etc. It seems like everyone has forgotten those things. Your points are absolutely valid, do not get me wrong. I think I enjoy Nick because he brings a different set of facts/opinions compared to everyone I've been listening to for many years that basically say, Jordan is perfect, hes the GOAT, no one can catch him, period. I think differently and Nick has the platform to say those statements.
its Dat Boi, when a player retires, fans will remember the good things. That's why you don't hear about the failures, but the thing is there's never been a career failure where you could say, "wow, Jordan really fcked up". The closest is 1995 against Orlando, but he was still coming back from 2 years of retirement and still managed to drop 31 a game that series. All the other instances he faced superior competition but at least showed up to play. Lebron has only had one real instance where he just didn't show up, and that was 2011 Finals. Other than that, no reason to criticize him. So when he retires, that will slowly fade into a distant memory. The problem is, it's inevitable that in the next 20-30 years, we will get another generational talent who starts challenging for all-time great status. Fans of this player will start bringing up Lebron's finals losses to tear him down, or Jordan's first round exits, in order to prop up their guy. My point is- why do that? Why is Nick reaching so hard to tear down Jordan's legacy when his failures weren't really failures that you could pin on the guy? I get that he's frustrated with all this Lebron criticism, but he needs to realize that it's possible to defend Lebron without criticizing others for many of these same shortcomings that Lebron has had.
Nick's also doing the same thing with Kawhi now. He's mad that people are comparing him to Lebron, and so he tries to diminish Kawhi's accomplishments as much as possible by spitting out facts such as Kawhi's career high in assists is 7. Well, Nick here's also two facts that you might be astonished by: in 8 games this postseason, Kawhi has a 37.0 PER and 0.412 win shares per 48 with a BPM above 12. That is absolutely mind-boggling. But instead of recognize this greatness staring in our faces, Nick chooses to ignore these facts and continue tearing him down. I mean, haven't we always been taught to see the best in people instead of putting them down?
dpistons149 you do realize that in game 6 2012 ECF(aka LeBron's best game ever) LeBron had 45 points left with about 9 minutes left in the 4th quarter and he was subbed out because they were blowing out the Celtics at TD garden. Had he played out the game he would've gotten his 50. The potential to do it was definitely there a few times it's not like it was never close lol.
I find it hilarious when the comments are either, "there he goes talking about Lebron again" or "can't believe they are actually giving credit to other players". There's probably several reasons why this do this. 1) Regardless of "if" he is the greatest player these days, his realm of influence puts him up in conversation. Not to mention his records, titles, personal life and services he does for the community. 2) Views. Ever look at Colin's videos and notice there is a trend? When "Lebron" is in the title, similar to the way Westbrook is. The view count goes up tremendously. MVPs are buzzwords that attract attention. Simple as that. 3) Majority of the time, Colin and guests, do their best to combine facts with statistics & personal experience. If you're mad that Lebron's name shows up there, that says more about yourself than what is actually being talked about. 4) Colin has admitted that he feels the media has viewed Lebron unfairly and under the most intense microscope. He most likely is trying to even that out and give credit where credit is due. Also, he is also holding other athletes to the same level. I'm sure when Lebron has a terrible 4th, which he will in in an upcoming playoff game, there will be a video about him dropping the ball. Bottom line: There are a lot of great players in the NBA. If you truly upset with the frequency that Lebron is talked about, comment on some of the content in which Colin presents. Not a generic half assed "ohhh lebron.. bluhahah" Add something constructive to the discussion like, can he be considered one of the greatest when his free throws are a HUGE downfall for a closer. (seriously his free throws are terrible for his status)
Tristan Wolfe I'll give u 1 and 2. but 4 is utter bullsh*t.. lebron is widely known as a top 5 player all time and even in the conversation with Jordan according to the dumb a$$ media.. hes getting his just due & may even be slightly overrated.. nice try tho
Nick needs his own show, they need to get rid of Kristen, she knows didly squat. Nick could be a great regular co-host with Colin or anyone else for that matter
Because he is at the peak of his prime breaking all kinds of records and at worst will go down as the second best player to ever live but probably will go down as the greatest player ever...as he's putting up ridiculous numbers in the playoffs......why would they not talk about it everyday on a sports show focused on basketball...
VanMal17 Most shows, like Skip's, only have the girls to sit still and look pretty and it's a shame, bc even tho he's smart Nick Wright can't really do that
Dirk Nowitzki did it! June 1, 2006 Suns 101 x Mavs 117 playoff game. Dirk scored 50 Pts. And he almost did it again against OKC in the Eastern Conference Finals 2011, scoring 48 Pts and 24 of 24 from the free-throw line. This is the record for consecutive free-throws without a miss in the playoffs.
Alright, I used to think I was as big of a LeBron fan until I just watched Nick tell us his morning routine of praying to LeBron... I think he has me beat now lmao
Aldrige is a total wreck - shooting 30% from field, grabbing less rebs than Parker, and on top of that such a defense liability - you can see that Aldrige is the slowest guy on the field. Bernats, Dedmond - who ever (do not care if they even shoot at all) - just get Aldrige to the bench
Markers Don't forget about THESE 1.Make excuses for 2007 final 2.Pretend like the 2011 finals never happened 3.Act like Lebron is close to passing Jordan In anything other than cumulative stats because he has played more games
dpistons149 I don't get how people don't give credit to lebron for going to pass Jordan in stats just because he's played more seasons. Since when is longevity a bad thing.
The Ultimate Rage Championships don't decide the all time greatest player. This is how the media and fans have partially ruined the sport of basketball. Ignore what the player brings to the floor as a talent and count how many championships his TEAM has won to decide who is better.
It still amazes me how ppl hate on players such as Brady, James, Tiger and Williams. We get to see the best of this era dominate...what more could we want? We got it with Magic and MJ and Gretzky, Griffey...but this generation somehow wants to tear down these new greats.
Nick Is like the ONLY guy who comes prepared to talk sports.. which is my usual gripe with former player commentators. They don't prepare anything, they assume their experience gives them superior knowledge about TODAYS game.... sorry T-Mac... you've got to bring INFO to the table
this lebron years right now are truly historic, but I can't get over the miami heat bs phase. and still, both are awesome TEAMS, built around him for him by him.
When Nick Wright gave that speech about Lebron he literally looked like he was going to shed a tear. He's dead serious about his love for Lebron. I thought I was a "Bronsexual". Nick Wright is the ascended form. Dude take the cake
This video will consist of: Analogies LeBron Stats and a mention of how many minutes he played and how he's one of the greatest (Coming from someone that respects LeBron)
Nick said "I watch sports for greatness." Yes...and that's exactly what a lot of these "sport fans" don't understand-put your team loyalty aside and look at this game from a meritocracy standpoint... what LeBron is doing and what IT did last night was historical by every conceivable measure.
If Sidney Crosby comes back from his concussion and plays at a high level (which I think he will). That man deserves to be a legend when ranking all athletes. Also I'm not a pens fan fyi
That's not fair to say Lebron never got 50 in a playoff game since he's so good at passsing and winning. His passing ability and his mission to win prevents him from scoring 50.
Also a 53 point game with overtime isn't as impressive when he did score in the overtime also. So to me it doesn't count. He wouldn't have gotten to 50 if it wasn't for overtime.
Jordan and Thomas not even close to Lebron in passing ability. But also look at that list. Lebron still better than scorers like Kareem and Bird. And no it's not because I left it out. The list is about the greatest players who didn't score 50, there's no direct reason to talk about MJ. And it doesn't matter that it doesn't support GOAT Lebron. Lebron is overall better than MJ in many things. Even tonight he is shooting and making 3s in front players faces, something Jordan didn't really do.
Also Lebron on pace to score 50 tonight if the game is still close. He's been proving debate shows and casual fans likes you wrong all year long and all career long. Also also consider how efficient he is. Remember he shoots close to 53% in the field. If he shot more he would be in-line with 50 point scorers.
That point about Aldridge/Beal level players is so true. Get paid superstar money and face none of the scrutiny. If you don't really care about being one of the GOATs that's definitely the ideal tier to be lol.
people who say nick wright is bad or says something bad about him are clearly young or their favorite player is in the d-league don't take greatness for granted just because hes been doing it for 13 years
How did Nick Wright get that tweet though? It's from 2013. I don't know how Twitter works but... please tell me he didn't scroll back 3+ years to find that tweet...
I hate to say it, but Nick is right. We are witnessing greatness here. Appreciate it while you can because it could be another 20 years after Lebron retires before we see someone of his caliber. I'm sure all these "Bronsexual" terms and popular phrases were used when talking about Jordan back in the 80s and 90s.
Which team will win the NBA Title this year?
King Trawal hey give the Cavs some credit. They'll win game 3 and make it a 5 game series
Colin Cowherd Excuses for 7 finals in a row ?
I still say spurs game 2 they're going to erupt
The Golden State Warriors.
Colin Cowherd Spurs will win the title and Coach Pop is the goat

Omission of facts is still "just stating facts." Nick picks and chooses which facts makes his girlfriend Lebron look best. you gotta admit that.
King Trawal you sound like a hater
King Trawal same thing MJ fans do
Yes, he cherry picks those obscure stats like points, rebounds, assists, steals, and blocks.
Peter Leopold how so?
I've learned to like Nick. Always comes through with arguments that are impossible to refute.
Actually thought Nick and Colin were going to morph into the Super Mega Bronsexual
Cleveland Fagaliers voltron
I think they need Shannon Sharpe to complete the process.
Add Max Kellerman as well.
They are not fanboys, they just wanna prove u brainless chickens that u're very ignorant for hating one of the best ever in sports history.
The tri-fecta lmao!
I'm shocked these guys even gave credit to another guy in the east other than Lebron
Lebron not good enough to score 50 in the playoffs huh.
dpistons149 Thats a dumb comment lol
Reborn Phoenix but we are still waiting for him to drop 50 aren't we lol
dpistons149 why does he need to drop 50 though it's not all about points

I wish nick wright was on everyday!! Love this dude.
Yes. He is amazing
I love these two together.
Amen Nick Amen ‼️
i love Nick Wright lmao
Meely Nick wright is funny and smart
Meely You're a Bronsexual so that's kind of a given lol
If you like Lebron you're a bronsexual, if you like Curry you're a homosexual.
Bronsexuals would also fit the homosexual category considering that they fantasize about LeBron 24/7
David Polach 😂
LeTrinity
Nick wright
Colin cowherd
Shannon sharpe
And their ultimate enemy skip bayless
Makuochi Igwe their*
Makuochi Igwe "LeTrinity" man I swear y'all corny af

Tristan Wolfe did ppl actually read that fxckin book you just wrote?
^ I read it.
People complain about every video, but they still tune in to watch. cause they know cowherd is good stuff
Nick needs his own show, they need to get rid of Kristen, she knows didly squat. Nick could be a great regular co-host with Colin or anyone else for that matter
VanMal17 all they'd do is constantly talk about lebron
nah, nick is good but in small doses. a lot of his takes are just pure stupidity
Because he is at the peak of his prime breaking all kinds of records and at worst will go down as the second best player to ever live but probably will go down as the greatest player ever...as he's putting up ridiculous numbers in the playoffs......why would they not talk about it everyday on a sports show focused on basketball...
VanMal17 Most shows, like Skip's, only have the girls to sit still and look pretty and it's a shame, bc even tho he's smart Nick Wright can't really do that
I do get what your saying.. However over at ESPN, the women actively participate in the conversation. That's something fox should work on..
Nick wright sounds like he voiced Larry in the bee movie 😂
Haven't even watched the video, just coming here to say Nick Wright really grinds my gears
NAILED IT NICK.... SPOT ON
Don't forget to factor Aldridge's heart condition.
Jared Lopez so
Jared Lopez If thats so he shouldnt be playing. No excuses
DH Worldwide So... that means he's not playing at 100 percent I thought that would be obvious.
Jared Lopez nobody is 100% it's the playoffs, they just played 82 games
Yung Chocolate Guy's play with injurys's all the time all I'm saying is he might not be 100%
Dirk Nowitzki did it!
Colin just brings nick on the show so that they can talk about lbj non-stop
Alright, I used to think I was as big of a LeBron fan until I just watched Nick tell us his morning routine of praying to LeBron... I think he has me beat now lmao

Nick Wright - Great commentary and opinion. Thank You! :-)
Happy to see I. Thomas get recognition
pop has reinvented his team about three times
The two smartest sports analysts out there
eBron James true sign of greatness is when videos about you are filled with frustrated virgins hating on you in the comments let's be real
eBron James True but I'm sorry they don't know basketball if Kobe ain't top 10 and also they love Lebron too much
eBron James naw chris Broussard Is better
eBron James L
eBron James - Bronsexual
My boy Nick Wright stays Preaching Facts
Nick wright is a stats Beastttt
"With me and my cats" - that explains a lot
I agree with Nick Wright on this one, appreciate greatness while you see it, because once it's gone he's never coming back.
Allen Iverson scored over 50 a few times without overtime in playoff games.
I love the truth and the passion in Nick Wright's words about James!
These guys talk nothing but facts! #LeGoat
I feel you Nick
This is the show right here Nick wright Kobe
Colin cowherd shaq
keep it up
How to be a Bronsexual according to the internet:
1.Not worship Jordan
2.Admit there is at least a 1% chance Lebron could become the greatest player
LOL so true
Markers I got called a bronsexual for praising Kyrie lol
Markers Don't forget about THESE
1.Make excuses for 2007 final
2.Pretend like the 2011 finals never happened
3.Act like Lebron is close to passing Jordan In anything other than cumulative stats because he has played more games
dpistons149 lmao exactly
dpistons149 I don't get how people don't give credit to lebron for going to pass Jordan in stats just because he's played more seasons. Since when is longevity a bad thing.
straight up Nick... im grateful for tonight!!! Passes Kareem fosho
All these fools gonna start saying "Letrinity" or "bronsexual" even though they only present facts. 😂😂.
lmao. exactly. straight statistical facts. not opinions. and they still mad. How is that logical? lmao
That's when you know LeGOAT the best. Have these fake Jordan fans shooook
6-6 >>>>> 3-7
6-6 >>>>> 4-8 (if Cavs win)
6-6 >>>>> 3-8 (if Cavs lose)
Jordan GOAT of not making playoffs LMAO
The Ultimate Rage Championships don't decide the all time greatest player. This is how the media and fans have partially ruined the sport of basketball. Ignore what the player brings to the floor as a talent and count how many championships his TEAM has won to decide who is better.
nick should get his own show
My man Nick stay speaking facts.
One of the 🐐🐐🐐🐐
Y'all noticed how colin got quiet and started mumbling when wright mentioned Wall😂
Nick is a legend 😂
Well said nick
I was honored to wake up and watch Kobe and Shaq in there prime when the game was physical less fouls and minimal flopping
It was incredible. It was fantastic, although the overtime does help.
It still amazes me how ppl hate on players such as Brady, James, Tiger and Williams.
We get to see the best of this era dominate...what more could we want?
We got it with Magic and MJ and Gretzky, Griffey...but this generation somehow wants to tear down these new greats.
I think we forgetting bout the thing called Overtime
Love the frustrated virgins hating on Colin's videos every time hahaha
We need a show with Skip Bayless, Cowherd, Shannon Sharpe, Chris Broussard, Nick Wright and Max Kellerman
"Brad Beal missed a relatively easy game winner"
Easy for you to say from your couch, hey😂😂😂
A little guy in the NBA you can be proud of, Isaiah Thomas.
Nick Is like the ONLY guy who comes prepared to talk sports.. which is my usual gripe with former player commentators. They don't prepare anything, they assume their experience gives them superior knowledge about TODAYS game.... sorry T-Mac... you've got to bring INFO to the table
I don't think Nick Wright can have a conversation without talking about LeBron.
Nick is my guy
nick wright UNDERRATED
Call Nick Wright a fanboy or whatever you want, but you gotta admire his perspective.
It's amazing how lebrons name is in almost all of the videos titles
They forget D-Wade's performance in the 2006 Finals??
Overall, spot on assessments minus the spurs. Popovic is a vet and is the Belichick of the NBA
I could imagine Colin's cats having Cavs merch on and a blinged pendant with a big C
this lebron years right now are truly historic, but I can't get over the miami heat bs phase. and still, both are awesome TEAMS, built around him for him by him.
These guys forgot about Allen Iverson
I like how they left Mike's 63 off that list lol
yup im fortunate enough too to be born on the 80's to have watch some of his airness legacy as well as LBJ's path to greatness #respekt #greatness
I wonder what Nick Wright will say when the Warriors gentleman sweep the Cavs in the Finals.
We need to stop including overtime stats when we make these comparisons. IT finished the game with 44 points, the rest came in the overtime periods.
When Nick Wright gave that speech about Lebron he literally looked like he was going to shed a tear. He's dead serious about his love for Lebron. I thought I was a "Bronsexual". Nick Wright is the ascended form. Dude take the cake
Does Nick Wright ever go a whole segment without discussing LeBron?
The Celtics are gonna prove everyone wrong and win the title this year!
Thomas is my boy, 53 POINTS!!!!and on his little sister's would be 23rd birthday.
That also makes Allen Iverson one of the greatest players ever then. You agree? Especially seeing how Iverson holds the playoff point record.
we need nick vs skip
This video will consist of:
Analogies
LeBron Stats and a mention of how many minutes he played and how he's one of the greatest
(Coming from someone that respects LeBron)
Bron absolutely slowed down (physically), he's less dominant on defense now, but he just plays smarter overall.
PLEASE Bring Shannon Sharp on the show while Nick Wright is here. You will have the Trinity of Supreme LeBron Kingdom Glorification 👑🙌
Nick said "I watch sports for greatness." Yes...and that's exactly what a lot of these "sport fans" don't understand-put your team loyalty aside and look at this game from a meritocracy standpoint... what LeBron is doing and what IT did last night was historical by every conceivable measure.
You just Can't Measure Heart!! Isiah Thomas
Remember when defense was better in the NBA today than it was in the 80's and 90's? . . . Neither do I.
If Sidney Crosby comes back from his concussion and plays at a high level (which I think he will). That man deserves to be a legend when ranking all athletes. Also I'm not a pens fan fyi
Lebron is great, but damn! This is getting ridiculous!
That's not fair to say Lebron never got 50 in a playoff game since he's so good at passsing and winning. His passing ability and his mission to win prevents him from scoring 50.

~Colin Cowherd, 2017
That point about Aldridge/Beal level players is so true. Get paid superstar money and face none of the scrutiny. If you don't really care about being one of the GOATs that's definitely the ideal tier to be lol.
Where was Iverson in that list?
Nick is right about Labumcus Aldridge.!
Where is Nick Wright ? Under a rock ? lol Aldridge isn't getting any scrutiny ? EVERY one is shittin on him.
people who say nick wright is bad or says something bad about him are clearly young or their favorite player is in the d-league don't take greatness for granted just because hes been doing it for 13 years
Say what you want about Nick Wright, but he knows his facts when it comes to LeBron
Wade in the finals against Dallas? Paul Pierce against the Nets?
I absolutely loved ITs performance, but Collin is a prisoner of the moment every time something big happens
I give IT his credit but he did do it in overtime
Nick you never been so write... appreciate the greatness of LBJ the goat
COLIN HOW DARE YOU DISRESPECT COACH POP
Westbrook had 51 vs the rockets
Neri Jung he's in the west
How did Nick Wright get that tweet though? It's from 2013.
I don't know how Twitter works but... please tell me he didn't scroll back 3+ years to find that tweet...
"Nick Wright spoke to Colin Cowherd about LeBron James"
In other news, the world is round.
sooooo....we not gonna talk about Dwade going off in the finals while in the East
There are right. We don't realize how unbelievable great LeBron is. There will never ever be a player like him ever again.
