I'm just glad we have some more rats for my marrow gnawer deck. New Kamigawa has been greatly lacking rats so far.

I would think about it in prosper, it cast things from exile, and prosper has deathtouch its easy to have it attack unblocked
But do you want to pay essentially 8 mana for this effect? Seems kinda expensive... and too slow. Nice for lower power but I believe not efficient enough for cEDH. Also, it is not nearly as game winning like Bolas Citadel. Easy comparison but way different!
Good idea, worth trying out to be honest. I wonder why prosper is receiving so much support, but you are putting prosper back in your hand so....yesh..

I’m putting Nashi into my Tergrid deck that was already running Varragoth and Opposition Agent to attach hands and tutors. This just adds more diversity to the creature pool plus can let me play out of color ramp etc
I'm 100% putting one into my Tymna/Jeska list. I'm not sure how I feel about putting it into Najeela.
Also, even though it's an ability letting you cast the spell, you're still CASTING it, so this doesn't slip under RoL effects.
I am playing Tymna/Rograkh, where I already was playing Varragoth and it has turned out really well so far. I kind of want to build a Deck that is more dedicated to that synergy because of how fun it is. I currently am pondering casting Extra Turns with Nashi.
You would need blue then. Like Kraum maybe. I think I had a deck like that. Tymna turns actually.
@@cedhtv Tymna and Nashi both want attackers anyways and those just profit from extra turns because of more card draw via. Tymna and attacking plan B. I could see myself playing a slower Staxy List with Esior/Tymna.
Another fun card could be Reality Chip, double down on the good sensei's divining top synergies, while having top deck manipulation.
I think Jeskai Black could be nice, but I don't like overlapping my commanders and I already have a Kraum list ;)

I play tested this in my Blue Farm and it’s pretty impressive. Yeah I strive to pay 5 mana (Ninjitsu+top deck tutor) to Peer Through the Abyss, but playing him turn 2 isn’t bad either. Or turn 1 Dark Ritual. If I hardcast him like that, grabbing a bunch of random cards isn’t too bad either. That and my Mox Amber has another target either.
dark ritual and this in turn 1 is quite good actually. It could snowball fast.
Please do a video for Hinata, crown of dawn. I think it's awesome you have tradional Intuition lines for breach. But heliods intervention Blows up all your opponents artifacts and Enchantments for 2 white. And toyr throw a mycrosynth lattice on there and blow up all your opponents permanents

attack with nashi before damage cast vamp tutor to put enter the infinite on top of your deck. cast it with nashi and just cast thassas oracle.
Interestingly, based on the lore, it seems Nashi is Tamiyo's son. Yes, I know, he is a mouse, but he IS Tamiyo's son.

Seems good in Rog/Silas - can add some grind while helping dig for a payoff. Great vid Mons!
As a Rog/Silas player, I can confirm this card is not playable in that deck, it is tooooo slow. Rog Silas is go fast or go bust, you don't want to play grind game.
@@ziyanli137 i have played a great deal with the deck also. In my meta - its rare that the first person to go off wins so this seems excellent there. I could definitively see this being too slow in a meta that rewards being the fastest deck.

i want to build his as a commander with the intent of getting a sorta “mono black yennet” doomsday plan since Nashi can crack doomsday piles in a meaningful way… any suggestion? which doomsday piles I should include in mono b?

Look for a new card named March of burgeoning life. It will change cedh forever.
It is similar to mask of the mimic. I think it is decent. You need to have an opponent with a dockside in play to find dockside. Can only get something that is alredy in play.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Varragoth's boast still in control of the target player? It's not like his owner gets to search - the target player can just fail to find, no?
yes, but you ninjutsu after their search, so they dont see it coming
you can only fail to find if the search effect asks for a card with a specific attribute, so an effect that searches any card can't fizzle like that. But the player can also just grab a land or something that the Nashi player can't use.
@@falkos.2131 I mean... if they don't see it coming they are blind - why would you be boasting on their library if not for your advantage? After all, you would naturally use it on your own, otherwise.

yeah. It really has a lot of power in it.
"there are better options"...you dont say....if I wanted better options, I wouldnt be coming to this channel looking for suggestions on how to build using Nashi as a commander. Given this ridiculous argument, why not just play 5 color Kenrith or something? There are always going to be better options. I dont think that is the point of wanting to build with this commander.
