    No offense but this is a pretty bad review after watching it again. It's like she's purposely focusing on the size because she wants to make it look bad and can't find anything else wrong with it.

    It's nice to see a smart watch that doesn't look like a toy for once. Honestly the larger watch is exactly what I am looking for. I have the 47 mm Galaxy watch and my biggest complaint is that I always wished it was a little bigger because I prefer larger watches. I switched to a OnePlus 12 from my POS s23 ultra so it looks like it's time to update the watch.

      The problem is that smartwatches these days are meant to be fitness devices that constantly track your health. Having to take them off for 1-2 hours out of every day to charge them disrupts the tracking. Absolutely atrocious review.
    For one, the title mentions "compromises", of which the only "compromise" is "oh no, the watch is big", and "I have tiny female wrists". Both of those things vary. They aren't objective compromises like, say, laggy software (which she states in the review this doesn't seem to have).
    She actively chooses to focus too much on her personal issues with the watch. Overall she mentions that this watch has one of the longest lasting battery's, is snappy, and has in depth fitness and health tracking. Her impression of the watch should ultimately be higher than it is. It's almost like she didn't want to really like the watch for whatever reason.
    Also, mentioning slightly inaccurate measurements that were later FIXED in an update, (although I would be willing to wager it had more to do with the watch not being strapped down tight enough), as a CON is ridiculous. If the issue was corrected, it's no longer an issue.
    Overall not a good review.

    Fall detection is the only actually useful thing missing, but thats because the watch needs a phone to make calls or send messages. If you have your phone on you, you dont need fall detection because you can call for help. If you dont have your phone, fall detection doesnt matter because it cant alert anyone anyway. Skin temp, SpO2, and ECG are mostly just useless gimmicks. I waited years for Samsung to actually add ECG to their GW2A and 3, only to find out it was locked to their phones. 99% of people will never benefit from these features. Most people will look at them once or twice and never think about them again. A smartwatch isn't a medial device, and all these sensors do is cause anxiety about things that don't matter to most people most of the time.

    • @superiortoall22
      @superiortoall22 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Definitely not true, if the watch has LTE then it can send the fall detection via SOS. I leave my phone in my vehicle when I go trail running, I’ve taken a fall a few times and my AWU asks if there’s been a phone and slide to send SOS.
      SpO2 training is also very common among runners, so I wouldn’t call that feature useless. For you those features might be useless but if the competition is offering those features then yeah I would want them.

      It has 2 separate processors that allow the watch to achieve a much higher battery life than most, if not all, smart watches on the market. But it's fine, ignore that because you want to hate it.

    people explain what's so special about the smartwatches? Other then monitoring the battery status I see here no special features. If that one could receive calls or sms independently that's another question, the heart reading while you're on the go is useless and who's going to make sense of the charts even if these were accurate.

    In the words of Randy Jackson on American Idol: Its a no from me dog. Too big, missing ecg, fall detection, body temp, etc. Better off buying an amazfit gtr4 or another model thats cheaper and does about the same thing. (its not wearos though).

    Summarized; If you want a crappy watch that sorta works but has a great battery life and are willing to put out 3 bills for it, get a one plus watch 2

      After getting the OnePlus 12 I was ready to continue on the OnePlus train but at 399 cad no thanks , even with 60 dollar coupon and 60 dollar trade in , it's still better to just get a cheaper galaxy watch 6 imo

      Maybe in airplane mode. I currently have the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic and the most I can get out of is two days using it as an actual smartwatch. The only way you could get 4-5 days out of it is if you basically turn everything off, which would defeat the purpose.

      @@Gravage I don't use aod and everything else is on. Airplane mode goes on when I sleep and off when I wake up. S3 Frontier, S4 classic, watch 5 pro and now 6 classic. All the same.
