@@LadyDynamiteCreates I am genuinely impressed with how you handled this take on a Viking-esque hairstyle, especially on a doll. And don't get me started on the undercut and braids... *chief's kiss* PERFECTO! I am a sucker for undercut hairstyles and you did it justice while making it look like a Targaryen hairstyle. So this doll is EASILY one of my favorites. I just love the overall design as well, she is gorgeous!
@@RexStyles Thank you so much! The first mohawk style I tried just didn't translate well to the doll scale and I am so glad it didn't because I am in love with the texture of the fishbone braiding.
@@LadyDynamiteCreates You nailed it perfectly and doing that on a doll is not easy from what I've been seeing. I wanted to ask if I could reference this doll's hairstyle for my own original character's hair? Figured it was more polite to ask than outright do it without permission. :3
WOW she looks incredible! I wish you could get more views and subscribers because you're one of the best doll artists I've personally seen on youtube!!
I've just been binging your dolls since you did the bug Collab, they're all amazing and I can't believe I hadn't seen you before but it's so fun to find a new talented artist to binge watch.
She’s stunning. Her face paint is beautiful.I love all the attention to detail you put in all of her clothing and accessories to tell this fairies story .I think you did a perfect job of that 🥰
The level of detail on her outfit is stunning!! I love the icy blue hair on her skin and how intricate the hair style is. Maybe you could do the squirrel she fought with 😂 but instead of being an actual squirrel they belong to the ‘squirrel clan’ lol
Shes amazing! She looks badass and cute and sweet all at once! Im glad you did the body blushing even though it isn't seen as much, it adds so much more depth to the doll. Awesome as always!💜
Her design is awesome! I love the way you made the wings, I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone embroider fairy wings for a doll face up before, that’s such a cool idea. The doll as a whole has the demeanor of an experienced warrior that has seen many battles, and it’s super cool! One thing I am a little disappointed about is how you can barely see the beautiful wings, but I reckon that just adds to the fighter aesthetic.
Thank you! I had actually contemplated binding them around her back to make it look like she would have to strap them down to avoid further damage but decided it was a bit too bulky. After I finished her hair I wish I would have shortened her ponytail to give a bit more visibility.
Even though I'm not a big fan of her yellow skincolor, I must say she turned out absolutely beautiful. I really like how you styled her hair and I just love the clothes you made for her 👌🏻🧚🏻♀️ I'm not much of a doll collector, but I've actually been collecting figurines of fairies, mermaids and witches for 10 years now and the first fairy figure I got actually was a warrior fairy as well (she's got some armor pieces like a leather shoulder pad and leather combat clothes and she's holding a sword in her hand) ^^💕
Beautiful! I just made a similar figure for my son. It's a male barbarian ( Conan-like, with Celtic woad tattoos.) My first one really. I had to redo the face several times and have just stripped it down completely to start from scratch. I really LOVE your fairy doll. The hair is particularly beautiful: same style that I used for his but without the flocking. Someday when I learn how to edit and make videos I will post. Thank you for sharing!!
@@LadyDynamiteCreates Thank you for your interest? I am having PC problems and can't find the community tab from my phone. I suppose I could upload to my own channel? He's back to being in pieces and parts because I tried to lengthen the body and the Apoxy sculpt failed.

"maybe she got in a fight with a squirrel or something" i was thinking weasel those things would be like fighting an overcaffenaned tiger they can take out a middem sized dog and i heard of them wipeing out a whole coup of like 20 chickens in one night if, and there common prey is fairy sized the colors in her clok match the pattrens they can have so you could quess how won
Hello Lady Dynamite, just wanted to let you know that this doll is absolutely amazing… as before, you have done a phenomenal job. The final job of your doll has come out fantastic and I can’t say enough about her! Can you please tell me, where do you buy your fabric from? I try to find fabric with small, 1/6 scale size prints, to no avail. If you know where I can go, I would really appreciate it if you revealed your source. Thank You very much in advance.
Thank you. I buy fabric from all over. Joann fabrics, hobby lobby, and Etsy. When looking at small scale patterns there are lots of options to create your own online with spoon flower and joann's (or yourself if you have the printer and press) Thrifted kids clothing is a good place to look too since their patterns tend to be smaller.
It might be cool to have a sister (or brother?) or friend of hers that is like a diplomat or a monarch or something, someone who is a peacemaker, so they would be kinda like opposites
For me its so much easier to do that cutting (I accidentally cut an ear tip off once with scissors 🤣) I do find that if the hair is on the sticky side I need to clean my clippers with some alcohol afterwards.
What kind of brush are you using to apply shadows around the eyes and nose? It looks like it has really short bristles; is that a special brush or did you cut one down? The wings may have been a ton of work, but they look fantastic! I love seeing how you went from concept sketch to finished doll.
Thank you! It was a brush I cut down, Artist's Loft necessities size 1 round, from Michaels. They are pretty easy to make but if the bristle are too soft it doesn't work well because they give way and you wind up rubbing the metal tip on the face and scratching it. The wings were never ending it seemed like. I carted them around with me everywhere for days just stitching away during all of my errands.
What type of brush is your tiny stubby brush? It’s amazing! (Also I am totally and completely in love with your work, she is amazing and so real feeling 10/10)
Its an artist's loft necesseties size 1 round brush. I just trimmed it down. Its pretty easy to make your own, just make sure the bristles are on the stiffer side. I cut down one that was soft but it didn't work well because the bristles gave way to the metal tip too easily.
Ever since you said "Think Conan the Barbarian" I imagined a female Arnold Schwarzenegger... then you said that she's a warrior fairy and that you imagine she got in a fight with a squirrel or something and my mind went to an image of a teeny tiny version of Arnold (think Honey We Shrunk Ourselves) in a little fairy costume battling a squirrel. I straight lost it. 🤣🤣🤣 That would make an epic movie. I just imagine him using his "It's not a tumor, it's not- voice" but squeakier because he is teeny tiny, wearing the dress outfit you made, out in the grass that seems more like a forrest, you know, because he's honey we shrunk ourselves small, standing on a pebble that seems like a massive boulder fighting off a squirrel that appears to be giant sized with a toothpick sized sword. 😂😂😂😂 So now you need to make an Arnold doll that gives off all of the vibes of Conan the Barbarian meets Honey We Shrunk Ourselves meets The Tooth Fairy. That would be epic and hilarious.
I love how you spend so much time on all the sewing and crafting and not just the face-up! It's so fun to watch you work :)
Thank you! I am so glad you enjoy it
Doll repainters are so talented in so many ways..painting, sewing, sculpting, rerooting etc etc

I'm sincerely loving this fairy's hairstyle! It was giving me Daenerys Targaryen with a little bit of punk added in and I'm HERE FOR IT! YAS QUEEN!
I looked at lots of "Hollywood Viking" hair styles when coming up with this one. Daenerys has such great hair!
