Totally get why this was nerfed but I'll miss doing Yoshikage Kira RP and convincing people to hold minibombs after I've snuck C4 all around them or reverse pickpocketed it
@IvanKochowskiFake Here's another cool combo for you to try, though I'm convinced me being able to do it was an absolute fluke: Everyone knows minibombs are great for gibbing, but there's almost no way to catch someone unaware enough to just drop the thing and go - the sound they make is too distinct... but a standard fragmentation grenade might just work! I'm pretty sure it's the same sound as a cleanade. And before you say "but a fragmentation grenade doesn't do enough damage to gib"- here comes the tricky part: you have to put an acidifier implant in them first. One of my very first Syndicate gibbings was done just this way. I found the CE lying at a bed in medical, and so I walked up to him and put the implant in, in the open, and I wasn't even a doctor... then I turned on the frag, walked away a few steps, and waited for the slime to flood the area, to the absolute horror of everyone near. I just know I will never be able to pull that off again.
@@fernando47180 Sneaking implants into people is always funny, in one game I was chilling in maints bar with a thief who was handing out all access and a random tider when I rolled an already-greentext'd-sleeper so I bought a holoparasite kit and snuck it into the tider. Needless to say, the player who controlled the holo wasn't happy that the host legally couldn't do anything antagonistic and just wanted to play dice. Do want to hold the captain hostage and force him to DNA scramble at some point. Gotta try getting explosive pens hooked up to remote signalers into peoples PDAs too.
@IvanKochowskiFake Ooh, you can link pens with remote signalers? That's neat! It shouldn't be hard at all to get the pen in their PDA, either: "Hey, can you lend me a pen?" And when they give you theirs, you swap it out for the explosive one as you hand it back.
